This cold, mountainous region consists of New Brunswick and the Isthmus of Chignecto. The southern parts of this province were the most populous, including the coastal city of Saint John.

The mountainous north boasts little prey and less vegetation thanks to the 2008 fire, though Halcyon Mountain and Aelcrest Shore were not touched by flame. The hilly northlands are still barren, though signs of recovery have blossomed.

The foothills butt up against salt marshes and rocky beaches. Typically windy, these sprawling plains and dense forests were sparsely populated inside of the coast.

The center of Nova Scotia boasts moderate weather, though the landscape evinces glaciation thousands of years ago. Proud hills and rolling, low-slung mountains jut upward between two jagged coastlines.

This small Atlantic coast basin was heavily dominated by the extinct human populations; while forests and fields are beginning to retake the farmlands, the heart of metropolitan Halifax remains scarred by humanity.

The southernmost extremes of Nova Scotia jut into the Atlantic; they are generally draped in a layer of fog. The terrain is hilly, with several streams snaking throughout. The thick inland forests are ringed with a rocky, jagged coast.
