It had seemed that way with the original Syemv, though Kaena knew very little of what had eventually transpired with the original crew of the ship. Still, it was not quite so odd; her own family was pretty well-cemented together, and the coyote woman thought it was fitting that other families would be such a way. She could not have known Silas and Spyridon were meeting for the very first time, of course. As Silas spoke, the sable-shaded canine remained quiet, apparently preferring to be spoken to before lifting his own voice. The silvery coyote could, of course, appreciate such a quality—perhaps it was a sign of respect in this foreigner's homeland, and it was simply his way of paying respects to the leader. “Spyridon, hmm? I'm Kaena Lykoi. I'm the sub-leader here, my son leads us,” she explained, assuming Silas had only explained the basics of the clan, waiting for the arrival of one of the leaders to do explain themselves. “What can you do for Inferni, then?” she asked, peering over at the sable hybrid. Silas had been forced through worse for this trial, but he had started out at a disadvantage, too. .sie-blanktext { font-family:georgia, serif; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing:.5px; word-spacing:2px; text-align: justify; margin:0px 25px; } .sie-blanktext .ooc { font-style:italic; font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:12px; } .sie-blanktext .divider { border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; margin-bottom:10px; } .sie-blanktext p { text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding:0px 5px; } .sie-blanktext b { letter-spacing:1px; } </style>
- Spyridon Russo - 08-13-2010
♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦

The scarred woman listened to his voice carefully, picking the meaning rather easily from his broken grammar. Though Spyridon's speech was far from perfect, he was quite easy to understand, which the silver-shaded coyote was quite glad for. “Well, we do have a greenhouse with plants that need tending—nobody fishes, either, as far as I know,” the coyote added, thinking on this for a moment. Fish was typically the sort of meal one ate alone; however, of course, if one was skilled enough to catch for the whole pack, then it would be quite useful indeed. “Welcome to Inferni,” she said, rolling her scarred shoulder in a shrug, half of a smile on her face. There was little ceremony through such things, and the old woman already felt awkward, intruding on some family reunion of some kind—she figured Silas would want to at least catch up with his cousin, and here she was faking formalities. “Silas can show you around, hm?” she said, speaking more to the chocolate-tinted Russian rather than Spyridon. She figured such a task could be entrusted to the Praeses; he had been a member of Inferni for long enough to know what it was like, and considering the man's background, he might be the best place for Spyridon to take hold in the pack. If there was anyone she had not expected to integrate quite so well with the clan structure, it had been Silas. She had thought him far too nice for the coyote clan, but clearly, she had been proven wrong—it had been many months now Silas had been within Inferni, and Hybrid hadn't killed him and neither had he left of his own accord, so he must be doing something right. .sie-blanktext { font-family:georgia, serif; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing:.5px; word-spacing:2px; text-align: justify; margin:0px 25px; } .sie-blanktext .ooc { font-style:italic; font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:12px; } .sie-blanktext .divider { border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; margin-bottom:10px; } .sie-blanktext p { text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding:0px 5px; } .sie-blanktext b { letter-spacing:1px; } </style>
- Spyridon Russo - 08-14-2010
♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦

- Silas Agata - 08-19-2010 PPing Kaena leave. Sorry for being slow. :3
He had sat in silence while Kaena spoke to Spyridon and not until she addressed him did Silas speak up. "Of course," he spoke softly, pale eyes drifting from the Centurion and then to his cousin. He offered the other Russian a small smile, before looking back to Kaena. "I’ll get him settled," and with that the Centurion made her departure. When Kaena was gone, Silas looked back to Spyridon and nodded. "Vasn’t too bad, eh?" Considering what Silas had had to do to be able to join, Spy had had it easy. Not that it mattered, really. Silas was just thankful he had some more family around. "I can show you to a dry room eef you’d like. Zhere are rooms on zhe second floor, where I stay, and zhere are some rooms down here eef you’d prefer." Silas rose from his chair then, finding that his fur had started to dry somewhat. The blue bandana wrapped around his forehead, however, was still damp from all of the precipitation. "How about ve start upstairs? I vill show you vhere I stay, ya?" He wandered over to the door, pale blue eyes on Spyridon as Silas waited for him to follow. It was simple enough to find Silas’ bedroom door, for he was the first door at the top of the stairs on the east wing. table by kahilli .silas-kahilli p {margin:0px 0px 10px 0px; padding:0px 10px 0px 10px; text-indent:25px; } .silas-kahilli b {color:#FFFFFF;} .silas-kahilli {font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:11px; color:#265B6C; word-spacing:1px; line-height:13px; width:400px; background-color:#97C3D1; border:1px solid #FFFFFF; outline:1px solid #000000; line-height:15px; text-align:justify; text-shadow:1px 1px 0px #8FB4BF; background-image:url(http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm10 ... lastop.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; background-position:fixed; padding-top:265px; text-align:justify; } .silas-kahilli-credit {width:400px; font-size:9px; font-family:georgia; style:italics; text-align:right; }</style>
- Spyridon Russo - 09-04-2010
I am so sorry this took so long. Spyridon watched the female leave, letting out a breath of relief he had been waiting for. That’s when realization dawned on him. He was part of the pack now. The wild traveler was now tame; the thought left a bit of discomfort which the man shook off. Looking over at Silas again, he was pleased to see a slight glow of admiration in his eyes as he looked at his cousin. He commented how the trial could have been worse, so Spyridon nodded; clearly pleased he had received an easy treatment. Now was the matter of getting settled in. .oceans-a01 b {font-weight:bold; color:#acd6ed; letter-spacing:1px; } .oceans-a01 .ooc { font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:1px;} .oceans-a01 p {text-indent:10px; padding:0px 10px; margin:0px;} .oceans-a01 {margin:0 auto; width:383px; background-color:#416b91; background-image:url(http://img832.imageshack.us/img832/6743/souls33.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:3px double #000000; padding: 10px 0px 205px 0px; font-family:cambria, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#0e2c5c; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
|
