- Oak - 08-20-2010
300+ Oak was completely transfixed by what he saw, the tiny yellow lights flickering on and off, dancing above and all around him. They drifted upon the breeze like flying insects, but creatures did not create light. Only the sun and the moon and the stars did. His ocean blue gaze lifted to stare into the velvet black dashed by twinkling silver stars, then wandered back to earth where the strange yellow orbs swirled in the night. Maybe they were stars too; they were tiny enough. Had they fallen from the sky, and lost their way? Oak stepped down from the porch, glancing uneasily over his shoulder. If Mama came out and saw him gone, she would worry. He did not want his mother to be concerned about him... but the pull of the golden lights was too strong. The boy could not have resisted an inspection for any reward. Being young and carefree, he merely forgot about the rules of the night and raced into the dew kissed grass, his face pointed upward to watch the dancing lights, those fallen stars. He selected on of them and followed it about, noticing that it remained lit for only a few precious seconds, went dark again and then burned as brightly as before. If it was a star, perhaps it was weakened by its presence on Earth, unable to shine constantly like the lights in the sky. He slumped to his belly, too puzzled to chase the thing any longer. It and its bretheren continued their lighted, shameless tango. Charcoal nose rested between his large paws, disheartened, until a miracle happened. One of the lighted creatures landed upon his nose, and the boy froze, laying remarkably still. It was indeed an insect, a small life form with a glowing abdomen. It was the loveliest thing he had ever seen. .oak03 b {font-weight:bold; color:#9b937c; letter-spacing:1px; } .oak03-ooc {font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#4e544a; text-align:center;} .oak03 p {text-indent:0px; padding:5px 12px; margin:0px;} .oak03 {margin:0 auto; width:336px; background-color:#c5d4bc; background-image:url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/ ... /oak03.jpg); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #dadcde; padding: 200px 0px 5px 0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#4e544a; letter-spacing:.3px; word-spacing:.8px; line-height:12px; text-align:justify;} .oak03-border1 {width:338px; border:1px solid #4e544a; margin:0 auto;} .oak03-line1 {width:260px; border-bottom:1px dotted #b3c0ab; margin:0 auto 10px auto;} </style>
- Ghita Marino - 09-05-2010
http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb17 ... uemoon.png); background-color:#000000; background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; text-align:justify;"> Table © Alaine
- Belle - 09-05-2010
Hey! I am very sorry for the loooong wait YAY A THREESOME! WC: 812
She could not sleep. No matter how much she forced her pale lids shut, they just would not give in. Behind the almost translucent covers she could still see dancing lights upon her eyes, just echoes of what was waiting for her outside. Belle knew that there must of been some kind of reason for her to have not fallen asleep, but she was trying to ignore that fact. What were in fact delicate, gentle snores coming from the corridor outside, she placed as the rumbling laugh of a monster out to get her- or the burping of a giant that had just swallowed somebody. She knew that she was far too old to belive in this nonsense, but all the same she was frightened to death, and she huddled to the corner of the petite bed she had always slept on. Looking around, the albino femme spotted a dark, flat substance just below her door. Belle shivered, believing it was blood, but she soon pulled herself together. The arctic wolf jumped off the duvet, (For she always slept on top of the covers like a little cat) and stretched her weak limbs pathetically. It was no use. They just flopped around like two pairs of rabbit ears. Once again she cursed herself for being without opposable thumbs, and she gave a hefty shove with her nose towards the closed door that was barring her from freedom. Somehow, she knew this night was special. Something was out there, something good, and she would not miss it for the world. "I do not have time for this! Open, godammit!" She spoke aloud, before mentally cursing herself. Talking to yourself? Whatever next? The wolfess was no longer a little girl. She was still a child, but had grown more mature over the past few months. However- she could get quite anxious and moody at times, especially when she had not had enough sleep. The one-year-old had grown into an adolescent, though her former, childhood hobbies had not deserted her. She was still an amazing athelete. The little-woman pivoted with her hind legs after several useless attempts to open the door, and she hurled herself at the window successfully. It creaked open slowly, allowing her to jump on the large sill. And, how she had gasped. The night was beautiful! How could she had not realized? This was the reason her mind was begging her to stay awake! The scene before her was very hard to describe.; it was like black ink had been spilled upon a canvas of the world, for everything was covered in a dark hue. The texture of the air was exhilarating, and the wind almost blew her tiny form from its' standing position. What more, the dark sky swirled amongst millions of bubbling, vivid stars. Those red, red eyes glittered with excitement as she took in the pitch-black yonder. She no longer felt tired... And what a simply perfect night to run! Powered by adrenalin and pure determination, the child-like figure pounced upon the lower window sill. Once she had met her first target the rest was easy- all she had to do was focus on the movements her body made. The arctic fey paused for a second, catching her breath, but no sooner than she had started to run, she bumped into two others, who were gazing at the night sky and some stars that seemed lower than usual. Belle gasped, pointing her nose in the direction of a 'star' that had fallen to the ground. She knew she must have seemed rude, but she did not have time for introductions at this very moment! She knew the pair were fellow crimson dreamers by their scent, and hoped they would help. .character-a01 b {font-weight:bold; color:# 9d3fc9; letter-spacing:1px; } .character-a01 .ooc { font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px;} .character-a01 p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .character-a01 {margin:0 auto; width:427px; background-color:#9694ba; background-image:url(http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/5998/souls11.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:2px double #000000; padding: 300px 0px 3px 0px; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:# 4f1e66; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Oak - 09-22-2010
Hey guys, sorry about the confusion I caused over this thread. I hope a three-way is all right with you two. And I also apologize sincerely about the wait! 300+ He was lost in this moment wherein the little glowing thing perched fearlessly upon the tip of his snout, lake hued eyes wide with wonder. Usually, creatures smaller than himself fled from him, never brave enough to even allow his approach. The firefly's courage inspired him. Perhaps the boy would think of it whenever faced with something that roused his own fears. In the next blink, the minute creature was gone, becoming one amongst the mass drifting serenely all around. He was still wide-eyed with lingering amazement when the limping figure finally caught his attention. Of his respectful nature, Oak stood quickly, ears lowering in automatic submission to the older wolfess. Her voice as well as the limp of her gait were familiar to him. He knew inherently that he had met her before, but not when or where. A name entered his thoughts from somewhere in the past, Ghita. Otherwise, she was lost in the tangle of memories he had of his infancy; nonetheless, his ash tipped tail waved slowly, for her words had been kind and soft. Nodding twice, the boy grinned and looked up at the sky for a second before returning his gaze to the Italian woman's lovely turquoise eyes. Oh, yes, came his verbal response, his tone holding the soft calm inherited from his mother. A shrill voice interrupted them, but Oak merely looked about until his gaze lit upon the stranger. He was struck by her stunning appearance, the snowy white of her fur, the shimmering ruby of her eyes. The sapling realized that she was as confused by the fireflies as he had been, until one of them had graced him with its presence on his nose, thereby telling him without words that it was only a little insect. His tail was still wagging mildly when he glanced between the two females, a bit bewildered by their presence on what he had thought would be a solitary night. They're bugs, Miss, he gently informed the alabaster fey with certainty. He lacked the haughtiness of some children, wishing only to share what he had just learned himself. .oak03 b {font-weight:bold; color:#9b937c; letter-spacing:1px; } .oak03-ooc {font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#4e544a; text-align:center;} .oak03 p {text-indent:0px; padding:5px 12px; margin:0px;} .oak03 {margin:0 auto; width:336px; background-color:#c5d4bc; background-image:url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/ ... /oak03.jpg); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #dadcde; padding: 200px 0px 5px 0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#4e544a; letter-spacing:.3px; word-spacing:.8px; line-height:12px; text-align:justify;} .oak03-border1 {width:338px; border:1px solid #4e544a; margin:0 auto;} .oak03-line1 {width:260px; border-bottom:1px dotted #b3c0ab; margin:0 auto 10px auto;} </style>
- Ghita Marino - 09-26-2010
http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb17 ... uemoon.png); background-color:#000000; background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; text-align:justify;"> Table © Alaine
