There had been rumours that his niece had returned to Inferni, but not being one much for talking or gossipping, Hybrid had only learned of her return rather recently. Nonetheless, curiosity had gotten the best of him and he had sought out a few miscellaneous members of the clan to ask them what they knew. One of them, some girl by the name of Zana, had pointed him in the direction of Talitha's den. At the time, he had scoffed at her, but now he found himself growing more and more curious as to the whereabouts of his niece. He supposed he was a little curious about his sister, but he could not determine why. She had disappeared on him enough times for him to know that the only thing she ever did was disappoint him. She was exactly like their mother in that regard. Of course, just because Hybrid was curious about his niece's whereabouts, it didn't mean he would actively seek her out. No, instead, he chose to sulk in the northernmost borders of the pack in Goldsglen Peak. Hybrid did not have the motivation to climb up the Cobequid Mountain, so instead, he lingered at its foot. He slowly began to make his way east, taking his time during the border patrol. He had certainly spent enough time meandering back and forth across Inferni's territory that he could do it without thought. He made his way through his one of his many routes, following the familiar scents and marks. So far, the day had been uneventful and he hoped it would remain that way. He was not in the mood to deal with a trespassing wolf. - Talitha de le Poer - 10-06-2010 [html]

- Hybrid Holocaust - 10-07-2010 [html] 314. Hybrid noticed a canine figure in the distance, forgot about it when he confronted a rather nasty-looking root protruding from the ground. He awkwardly hopped around it to avoid tripping and continued meandering along the path. He glanced back up and saw that the canine, decidedly doggish in appearance, was getting closer. He normally did not see many other clanmembers when he was patrolling, so the appearance of a clanmember was surprising. He was often the only one skirting around the edges of the territory while the others were safe in the heart of the territory, so he waited patiently for the Infernian to arrive. He hoped it was nothing important; he really did not want to waste any time conversing with the idiots that made up the lower ranks. They either deserted or abhorred the war, and he had taken to stalking up and down the borders of Inferni both as a measure against wolfish intruders and annoying coyotes. Nonetheless, he was a little curious to see why Gabriel – no, it wasn’t Gabriel – was coming this way. Hybrid squinted, but could not tell who it was. He huffed and waited for the creature to arrive. It was a female that looked suspiciously like the Aquila. She spoke and offered a greeting: hello. Hybrid frowned and turned his head to get a better look at her. This was Talitha, Gabriel’s daughter – he had not seen her in quite some time. “Hey,” he replied gruffly. “What’re you doing back?” he asked, his frown deepening. The last he’d heard, Gabriel had sent Talitha off with some wolfish coyote to keep her “safe” from the war. Whatever Gabriel had been trying to protect her from, a war or two would have done the young girl a great deal of good: give her some blood and she’d be as loyal to Inferni as any proud father could hope. |
