Last thread guys! Please feel free to have your character claim a cave, find a den, or start digging one. Exploration is welcome as well. When I post next, ranks will be passed out and Inferni will offically be back on the map. Let's get this going, guys, we need to be number 1!
indent Gabriel and Anselm had moved back towards the place Inferni had been staying, all the while speaking lightly on the area, which the doggish hybrid was most interested in. The wolves were moving into the forest—he could smell this clearly. That was another reason he was so eager to reform Inferni. On the Waste, they would rule supreme. Before reaching the cave they had temporarily taken up, the hybrid let out a howl, half-requesting and half-demanding the presence of the entire clan. indent They assembled and he explained, briefly, that they were moving to another area for good. He did not introduce Anselm at this point, instead turning and heading back the way they had come. Not long after, the hybrid was seated atop a boulder in the Waste and addressing the group. “They call this place the Waste, but from now on it belongs to Inferni. You are all free to explore and find yourselves new dens; before dark I’ll be assigning new ranks. If you see any wolves, treat them as hostile.” His eyes were dark as he said this, remaining still where he sat. This was their new home—they had to claim it for themselves. - Anselm de le Poer - 04-03-2008
http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s304 ... header.png); background-repeat:no-repeat; padding-top:300px; background-position:top center; background-color:#8C0D00">
- Molochai de Odi Lykoi - 04-03-2008
-assumes it's okay to post now?- lulzyo Travel, stop. Travel, stop. Pause and rest. Travel, stop. So this was it. lulzyoMolochai’s golden eyes studied the rather unattractive caves and rocks and he smirked. Beauty was in the eye of the beholder and this place looked lovely to him. No frills and no fuss. Good solid defense. The wolves were still scattered about most likely crying for each other and trying to comfort one another. Meanwhile they had found a good solid territory and a group to stand together. Both males and females, as well as young and old; a good balanced group. lulzyoHis smirk stayed on his features as he glanced around the group, fading as he came to an unknown male with red eyes. Was this guy related to him somehow? Tail curled around his haunches he let his eyes linger for a moment before turning to look around the territory and perhaps find something interesting for himself. He knew he wanted a place to sleep close enough to the group for protection but far enough away for some peace and quiet from them. lulzyoAs his brother finished Molochai nodded, wondering how ranks would be “assigned” exactly. A glance at the sky told him he had a little while but he didn’t intend to go far. Staring at Samael out of the corner of his eye, he started towards a little ledge, hopping up on rocks until he reached a nice small cave only a few moments walk from where Gabe was sitting. He could still see the group and laid down quietly to watch, rooting around in the cave for a scent that wasn’t there or at least was fading quickly. - Hybrid Holocaust - 04-03-2008
I am stuck typing at the computer with the jiggly keyboard tray. Damn annoying. |:
- Samael Lykoi - 04-04-2008
Barely a thought had been given to the landscape they now claimed as their own. The Waste. Perhaps a perfect name for this worthless place, filled with jagged rocks and dirty sand. But this was their new kingdom, and the caves would have to be palaces, decked out in silver and gold, and adorned with precious jewels. Gaze shifted over those gathered, laying eyes on the strange red-eyed creature in their midst. Attention lingered only briefly, lip curling faintly at the audacity of Gabriel's new ally, but otherwise no thoughts were given toward him. He'd worry about that later, if need be. Instead, he caught his other brother's gaze once Gabriel had finished, following him toward the ledge and the cave he seemed to have claimed as his own. Leaping up onto the rocks, he seated himself at Molochai's side, curling his tail around his legs and allowing gaze to linger on the distant group. - Faolin Mogotsi - 04-05-2008
Wow, I am DUMB, I did not see this here or I would have replied MUCH sooner. :/ She was still in a daze, everything had not settled in at all with the girl. It felt like a dream and everything was moving too quickly for her to grasp on to it seemed. Gabriel had lead them to this new place. Did he start the fire himself? He seemed all too sure about himself and she had barely gotten to talk to him on the trip. He was so determined and she looked over her mate wearily, but that did not stop her from anything. She let out a sigh as she pushed the two pups along onto the rock, Talitha bolting for a spot right beside her father. Faolin looked over the caves quietly while she waited to see which one Gabriel would pick out. She would let him take the pick, honestly as long as it was warm, safe and comfortable she would be fine with anything.
- Rachias Tears de Ame - 04-06-2008
Rachias had followed along ever since Gabriel had drug her back from trying to find Arkham. She'd hung back from the group, completely missed most of everything that they'd said, and kept to herself except for the brief moment that she'd sat close to Faolin. That had all changed once they had started moving though. Rachias had nothing to do with any of them now, only that she was being drug along with them to wherever it was that they had decided to go. Whatever the case, they'd made it, and Gabriel was suddenly addressing them over it. The caramel colored girl sat a good ways away from them all, only half listening to what was going on. The one thing to catch her attention was the mention of treating wolves as hostile. In a way, Rachias took offense to the words, and frowned to herself where she sat. The rest of them might treat them as hostile, but Rachias wouldn't. Some of the wolves out there, whether anyone else liked it or not, were her family. The rest of them would wander off to look around, find dens perhaps, but not Rachias. She'd just be sitting there. - Gabriel de le Poer - 04-09-2008
Okay kids, one more reply and Inferni is back on the map. >:] I'll have the website up soon so the ranks will be explained better--if you're confused before then, IM or PM me about them.
indent Gabriel explained to Faolin where he had picked their den (a cave out of the way of the wind, above the field) and that once finished he would show her. There was a lot to be done, and he intended to finish here as soon as he felt it had been long enough. Another howl, and again they came. Gabriel regarded the group as a whole, then began speaking, attention turning to each name he mentioned in turn. “We’ll be keeping most of the ranks we once had, with a few changes. Faolin will be Praetorian,” he began, feeling no qualm about setting his mate into a leader position. “Hybrid will be the first Hyrda, which replace the Gladius—you take orders from no one except me,” he added. indent “Samael will serve as Scorpius, our lead hunter.” Might as well allow him to kill, Gabriel supposed. “Anselm; Caelum—scout and spy. Molochai; Imperium. Rachias; Praeses.” Finished, Gabriel looked around the group. Five men, two women, three children. They could take the wolves down, one by one, if that was truly what needed to be done. A wicked smile cracked Gabriel’s face and he spoke again. “Remember this—we have survived war, we have survived drought, and we have survived flame. Inferni is as strong as ever while they scramble about like rats. Tonight we’ll remind them of that.” indent And with that, Gabriel threw back his head and let out a vicious call, mocking and warning the straggling wolves all at once that Inferni was here and Inferni was ready to kill. - Anselm de le Poer - 04-09-2008
http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s304 ... header.png); background-repeat:no-repeat; padding-top:300px; background-position:top center; background-color:#8C0D00">
