Word Count → 446 :: I promise Clover will be in a better mood once Sirius is around! I hope this doesn't totally fail as a starting post. :3 It seemed that no matter what the girl did, she could not escape the feeling of being trapped. That wasn’t to say that Clover was unhappy, because there were plenty of things in her life that made her smile, but it remained as this feeling lingering constantly in the back of her mind. Somehow, Clover felt caged. So it was no surprise that the hippie child had being leaving behind the security of Inferni’s borders to travel along the neutral territory snaking its way along the various pack lands. She wondered if this restless feeling had been born from her loyalty to Inferni, now that she had lived there for quite some time. Juniper Peace seemed to always be on the move, never really staying here or there for too long. Maybe it was this nomadic lifestyle that Clover missed. Whatever it was, the girl was trying to rediscover it now. All concentration fell to the task at hand, and the smoldering joint held between her teeth almost slipped from their grip. The strain on her muscles was welcome as she heaved her way up the outcropping, trying her best to avoid any potential for injury. There was an easy way to the plateau that boasted a wonderful overview of the Dampwoods, but the girl had ignored the path. She supposed the small sense of excitement that flared as she put her lithe form to use was something she need now. That was her problem; Clover had felt incredibly numb lately. As she finally was pulling herself over the ledge, the denim of the shorts adorning her hips snagged on the sharp rock face, and in her hustle to free it, the joint finally did slip from her mouth. Just as so. It probably contributed to that lack of feeling. Now that the girl had made it, she folded her legs beneath her like a pretzel and looked out over the edge to the small pile of her things below – the familiar knapsack containing many things she held dear, and the pearly white guitar – that had been shed prior. She had made it, but now what? Sighing, the girl let her frame fall back onto the ledge, pale yellow eyes rising to the sky and searching the clouds for some sort of sign. She felt so alone somehow, and it was tragic. Nature was the one thing Clover had always clung dear too. The young Lykoi had never felt more content than when she was immersed in the beauty of the world. And yet now, there was nothing. The flower child, who found happiness and love within every living thing, now felt more isolated than ever. .clover-flower {font-family:'trebuchet ms', verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; letter-spacing:0px; word-spacing:2px; text-align: justify; margin:0px 25px; background-image:url(http://anna.sleepyglow.net/images/souls ... flower.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding:0px 10px 30px 10px; margin:5px auto; width:500px; } .clover-flower .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px; text-align:justify; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; margin:5px auto; width:100%;} .clover-flower .tagline .sub {font-size:11px; font-weight:bold; font-style:italic; } .clover-flower .wc {text-transform: uppercase; font-weight:bold; font-style:normal;} .clover-flower p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding:0px 5px;} .clover-flower b {letter-spacing:1px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:12px; letter-spacing:-.05em;} .clover-flower u {text-decoration:none; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; font-style:italic; font-variantmall-caps; } </style>
- Sirius Revlis - 04-17-2011
Noelle made this table! He rose early, as was his want. The cool dark air kissed a rugged frame, disheveled dark locks falling in unruly abandon over the criminal apple green of the male's eyes. He walked on light feet, a bipedal form used that meant the male was not hunting. He had set snares a few days prior, and wished to see if they had been successful - The hunter was working on a better design for the small traps, and although he preferred to catch prey with his own jaws it was a suitable method for feeding when the rest of his time was occupied.

Though her pale yellow was veiled amongst the roan mask, Clover was not left in the dark. The sun could easily find her here, for it was high in the sky and the trees did not interrupt the rays’ path to find her lithe form. Though one would expect to find nothing but the deepest onyx, Clover’s vision was obscured by a blur of smoldering gold and maroon. She focused entirely on it, letting the feel of the sun absorb into her and leave her feeling more at peace than she had felt in a long while. Maybe this was all she had really needed – to clear her head and let nature coax her back to where she needed to be. She had almost dismissed the sound of the male’s arrival, but the clearing of his throat trailing after his dropped bag made Clover realize she was no longer alone. This was not merely someone passing by – she had company. Blinking, straw veiled intermittently by blushing lids, Clover brushed away her world of fiery colors and was brought back to reality. She rose from lying on her back so that she was sitting with her legs folded beneath her, before the young Discens turned her gaze onto her company. The vibrant green that stared back threatened to steal her breath (reminding her of that male's, though of course with more intensity). For the slightest moment, Clover was scared – scared that memories of the boy could paralyze her like this. And then the girl plastered a smile amongst her features, and the memories of chartreuse vanished. "Hello, love," her voice once again sing-song, as it most often was. .clover-flower {font-family:'trebuchet ms', verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; letter-spacing:0px; word-spacing:2px; text-align: justify; margin:0px 25px; background-image:url(http://anna.sleepyglow.net/images/souls ... flower.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding:0px 10px 30px 10px; margin:5px auto; width:500px; } .clover-flower .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px; text-align:justify; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; margin:5px auto; width:100%;} .clover-flower .tagline .sub {font-size:11px; font-weight:bold; font-style:italic; } .clover-flower .wc {text-transform: uppercase; font-weight:bold; font-style:normal;} .clover-flower p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding:0px 5px;} .clover-flower b {letter-spacing:1px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:12px; letter-spacing:-.05em;} .clover-flower u {text-decoration:none; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; font-style:italic; font-variantmall-caps; } </style>
- Sirius Revlis - 04-19-2011
omnom <33 For a moment, it seemed as if the girl had indeed died where she lay, bathed in sweet sunlight. There was something that blossomed beneath her ribs and the girl struggled to keep her smile from sliding into a sideways smirk. It was by no means really caused by the boy before her; Clover was simply amused by the feeling she knew was growing within her. She was oh so very fickle in love, and she knew what this meant for the boy before her. "Of course I am," her sweet smile never faltering, while she tilted her head slightly to one side. He seemed to be quite the gentleman, didn’t he? Not only were his words kind and showed concern for her wellbeing, his posture reflected this smooth etiquette. Without knowing much about him, Clover decided that she liked the man before her; she was naïve to believe there were not bad people in the world – bad people who would pretend to be nice to trick fools like her into believing they were someone they were not. "Oh, just walking, I guess," her shoulders rolling lightly to suggest that her wandering hadn’t been given much thought. "I needed to get away from home. See something new. It seemed like a nice place to be," gesturing at the ground beneath them so that he would know she was referring to the small plateau that overlooked some of the Dampwoods. "But why do you say that?" Referring to his warning about the mountain. "Is it not safe here?" Pale eyes left him for a moment to survey the surrounding area, but Clover found nothing of malice. In fact, the view was quite serene from here, now that she had managed to scale the rocky outcropping. "It seemed lovely enough," she reiterated, though her voice was more hushed than before, as if she meant to only speak to herself. .clover-flower {font-family:'trebuchet ms', verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; letter-spacing:0px; word-spacing:2px; text-align: justify; margin:0px 25px; background-image:url(http://anna.sleepyglow.net/images/souls ... flower.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding:0px 10px 30px 10px; margin:5px auto; width:500px; } .clover-flower .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px; text-align:justify; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; margin:5px auto; width:100%;} .clover-flower .tagline .sub {font-size:11px; font-weight:bold; font-style:italic; } .clover-flower .wc {text-transform: uppercase; font-weight:bold; font-style:normal;} .clover-flower p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding:0px 5px;} .clover-flower b {letter-spacing:1px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:12px; letter-spacing:-.05em;} .clover-flower u {text-decoration:none; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; font-style:italic; font-variantmall-caps; } </style>
- Sirius Revlis - 04-19-2011
Word Count :: 5+ Sirius didn't quite know what to make of the girl on the rock. This startled him somewhat, for the young man's brain was more than adept at shuffling people into appropriate categories. Every individual could be placed according to their entity, their mentality, and one of his few desirable skills was the ability to read this. To read and individual. It made them easier to manage that way - Easier to manipulate, easier to elude. Sirius claimed to be no magician, but he was an automated genius when it came to such things. Why, then, he preferred a lack of company, was a mystery yet to be solved.

Though the words were smooth and calm as he issued them, the flower child could easily read a sense of foreboding in those vibrant green eyes. She felt slightly unsettled by these words, scared to think of the reasons why some did not come back from their journeys. It seemed that Clover was more and more coming to face the cruelty the world presented, and she wasn’t quite sure what to make of it. She tried desperately to cling to the love and happiness that Mother Earth had once given her, but lately Clover had felt betrayed. She wasn’t sure what to think anymore, and it seemed as if her guidance had been lost. She did not want to openly admit it, but this scared her. Sirius did offer some insight in to how one might go missing, and the girl’s features slipped away from the warmth they had once proclaimed and now had gone cold. Straw eyes left the male for just a moment, sweeping the area once again, and this time finding that her gaze could focus only on the potential dangers. The outcropping was no longer a playful obstacle she had faced, but a dangerous cliff side that sought to snatch her life prematurely. What had she been thinking? His smooth voice brought her gaze back onto him, and she found that glittery green comforting. She smiled in response to his words, nodding in agreement, "I suppose I have." Her gaze did not leave him until he had settled on the rock beside her, and Clover was grateful for the company. Not only did his gaze soothe her heart, but his presence there somehow threw up an invisible barrier to keep out the cruelty, or so she felt. As long as the hybrid male was there, Clover felt safe from any lurking harm. "I guess I’m lucky it was you who found me here, instead of something else," she reflected, eyes falling away from him so that they could sweep out to the area below them. Would she really have come face-to-face with something threatening, such as one of the mountain lions he spoke of? The girl definitely appreciated his presence now. Turning her gaze back onto him, Clover brushed away some of the golden chestnut to fully unveil the heart-shaped roan mask. "Can I ask my savior’s name?" Her voice soft and airy, underlined by a smile that together indicated her playful flirting. .clover-flower {font-family:'trebuchet ms', verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; letter-spacing:0px; word-spacing:2px; text-align: justify; margin:0px 25px; background-image:url(http://anna.sleepyglow.net/images/souls ... flower.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding:0px 10px 30px 10px; margin:5px auto; width:500px; } .clover-flower .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px; text-align:justify; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; margin:5px auto; width:100%;} .clover-flower .tagline .sub {font-size:11px; font-weight:bold; font-style:italic; } .clover-flower .wc {text-transform: uppercase; font-weight:bold; font-style:normal;} .clover-flower p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding:0px 5px;} .clover-flower b {letter-spacing:1px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:12px; letter-spacing:-.05em;} .clover-flower u {text-decoration:none; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; font-style:italic; font-variantmall-caps; } </style>
- Sirius Revlis - 05-01-2011
Word Count :: 3+ Perhaps he had been to forward in his attempts to make her wary. Sirius had not intended to frighten her - After all, the words he spoke no more frightened him than the birds in the trees. To the Revlis man, they were facts; Harsh, cold, cruel facts. Her sweetly scared features served to surprise him again at the girl's freshness, her strange innocence. Surely somebody had seen how vulnerable she was, on her own? What was their thinking, in allowing such a pretty thing to wander so far? Inferni had always held a tentative spot of respect in the male's mind, but that pedestal had been withering for a while now. There were rumors of growing weakness within the clan, and the girl's mere existence proved such a thing. In the days of his childhood, they would surely not have permitted such fragile beauty within their ranks. Perhaps Gabriel had gone soft.

She would probably not openly admit it, but it was clear as day to see that the child was fickle in love. Or so, what she thought was love. Juniper Peace had raised her with values she continued to cling to, but she hadn’t ever realized just how those values had shaped her as she had gotten older. Now, in her prime years of life, she sought nothing more desperately then finding love. The world revolved around love and Mother Earth encouraged the girl to create and spread it, but she had felt lost lately. Clover had not been able to cling to her own namesake, and it made her feel broken. But this boy, with his beautiful green eyes and his unusual gentlemanly manners, had unearthed a spark in the hippie child that sent electricity through her bones. She had felt something similar before – stupid attraction that had developed a simple crush – and she recognized the feeling. It was entirely exciting, and she welcomed its return. With so much cruelty in the world lately, Clover was afraid she was going to forgot how to love almost entirely. Now she realized she couldn’t let that happen. Sirius. It was a strong name, and something the Lykoi woman saw fit for a gentleman. He reached for her hand and Clover willingly obliged him, the bloom of rose deepening along her cheekbones beneath her rouge mask. His touch was soft and strange swirl of emotion building in her chest told Clover that she sought more of it. What she would give to keep her hand lingering there in his. "Clover Love," she told him, leaving off her surname as she often times did. Though she felt bad for admitting it, sometimes the girl didn’t mention her Lykoi blood only so that she could feel more beautiful. Her family had dark histories and she did not always want to be associated with them. Though she loved her grandmother, Clover did not want to be thought of as a product of her. She was not like Kaena. Clover would rather be seen as the child of Mother Earth herself; beautiful, pensive, and serene. But what did Sirius see? .clover-flower {font-family:'trebuchet ms', verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; letter-spacing:0px; word-spacing:2px; text-align: justify; margin:0px 25px; background-image:url(http://anna.sleepyglow.net/images/souls ... flower.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding:0px 10px 30px 10px; margin:5px auto; width:500px; } .clover-flower .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px; text-align:justify; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; margin:5px auto; width:100%;} .clover-flower .tagline .sub {font-size:11px; font-weight:bold; font-style:italic; } .clover-flower .wc {text-transform: uppercase; font-weight:bold; font-style:normal;} .clover-flower p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding:0px 5px;} .clover-flower b {letter-spacing:1px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:12px; letter-spacing:-.05em;} .clover-flower u {text-decoration:none; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; font-style:italic; font-variantmall-caps; } </style>
- Sirius Revlis - 05-02-2011
Word Count :: 5+ She was a winsome creature, delicately crafted with light bones and a sweet, open face. Even more, she had valuable blood - Pure blood, one of the last strains of royalty that the New World had. Sirius was a proud man, but not stupid, and he knew the power of her family would be comparable to the power of the Family he intended to create. But times were changing, and perhaps this princess would not remain an object out of grasp for long - Royalty was such a fickle concept these days. It all came down to blood, blood and respect, and these were both things that Sirius sought to command.

You have such a lovely writing style. Like the naive adolescent she was, Clover was quick to fall victim to the gentleman’s charm. And true to any childish crush, a strange mix of excitement and anxiety flooded her veins. It wasn’t easy for her to conclude why she so hastily felt this way, but perhaps it was because his charming ways reminded her that there was still good in the world. Lately, Clover had fallen away from Mother Earth and what she had thought she had stood for. What with Sage’s injury, their unsuccessful attempts at locating their father, and Micah’s refusal to stay with them, things had just seemed to grow darker. When the young Lykoi looked to those apple green eyes, she thought that perhaps she could escape the real world. Up on this ledge, they had been lifted from reality. There was hope in those eyes, and she didn’t want to let it slip away. And then the girl was suddenly very self conscious about her own appearance. His words had only caused the blush beneath the rouge mask to deepen, and her expression grew somewhat bashful. "You’re too kind," came her soft response, as her hand lifted to brush away some of the golden waves that framed her face. Pale straw gaze found the bracelets adorning her wrists and Clover was not aware of how he looked at her then. She couldn’t possibly understand his inner workings or how they made him perceive her. The hippie child was naïve enough to believe in true love, and her heart entertained notions of the concept. At his words, her gaze instantly found his again and she silently praised him for giving her a reason to study those brilliant faux emeralds. "Of course," she chimed easily, feeling her excitement flare as the male lessened the distance between them. "I hadn’t planned on leaving anyway. Not while my savior was still around," here her words were punctuated by a coy smile. How wonderful it was that her mood had so effortlessly been pushed from one end of the spectrum to the other. Sirius had dispelled her feeling of tragic isolation and served to remind her of the beauty she desperately sought in the world. Why couldn’t the world truly be a place of love and happiness like, as a child, Juniper Peace had led her to believe? Now it seemed as if Clover only had eyes for Sirius, and could not possibly comprehend that he was in fact the mountain predator he had alluded to. .clover-flower {font-family:'trebuchet ms', verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; letter-spacing:0px; word-spacing:2px; text-align: justify; margin:0px 25px; background-image:url(http://anna.sleepyglow.net/images/souls ... flower.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding:0px 10px 30px 10px; margin:5px auto; width:500px; } .clover-flower .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px; text-align:justify; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; margin:5px auto; width:100%;} .clover-flower .tagline .sub {font-size:11px; font-weight:bold; font-style:italic; } .clover-flower .wc {text-transform: uppercase; font-weight:bold; font-style:normal;} .clover-flower p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding:0px 5px;} .clover-flower b {letter-spacing:1px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:12px; letter-spacing:-.05em;} .clover-flower u {text-decoration:none; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; font-style:italic; font-variantmall-caps; } </style>
- Sirius Revlis - 05-03-2011
Word Count :: 3+ She was easily flattered, apparently as humble a creature as she was pretty. Sirius had tended to his vanity carefully - Although far too sensible to be narcissistic, the male had an undeniable preference for beauty, and received plenty of enjoyment from preening his fastidious appearance. Like a peacock, the man sought to present himself in the best manner possible, with the unruly dark locks of his combed back from sharp, calculative eyes. Compliments were expected, and as such, humbleness often fell by the wayside.

Hungover Anna is hungover, but wanted to reply for you! Also, also, I was very excited when reading the Family thread. Also, also, also, I somehow managed to write the same amount of words as my last post. Weird. She held those faux emeralds in her sights, until a hand lifted to brush a stray lock at her face. Though the girl diverted her gaze, coy smile ever present amongst her features, she had to admit to herself that the gesture made her stomach turn in the best of ways and she did not want his touch to fall away as it most likely effortlessly would once the golden wave had been tucked back. "My family?" Her tone somewhat reflective as she thought about this. It took only a moment before Clover was shaking her head, disagreeing. She had many blood ties in Inferni, which is what had first brought the girl there upon her arrival in Nova Scotia. Sage and China’s scent trail had led her there, but they had since moved on by the time Clover had pinpointed their location. Though months had been spent in Drifter Bay, for Razekiel had warned his daughter or the dangers of the coyote clan, extreme loneliness and a settling depression had convinced her that being with her family was better than nothing, even if it meant she had to live in such a dangerous place. But it had not been dangerous until recently, and those incidents had been caused by Mother Earth herself. Clover was sure that if she disappeared from Inferni, the only ones to notice would be China and Sage. Maybe Kaena, when Clover was not there to provide her grandmother with her medicinal cannabis. The child did not seem to be much use to the clan, and she had realized it. Much in the same way Sirius saw her, Clover was just a pretty thing to look at. She was not strong like her sisters, who rose in ranking. She was merely a trophy to be set upon a shelf. At least from a new shelf she would have a view of those candy apple eyes. "They wouldn’t care," she decided, finally. Her features grew somewhat somber as she offered a light shrug of her shoulders. "My sisters might not be happy to know I climbed so high, but that’s all." In light of the storm which had injured Sage’s arm, they would not be happy to know Clover had been so reckless. In regards to Sirius, perhaps they would commend her for such a brilliant find. She wasn’t really sure. It didn’t matter too much though. No one knew she was here with him, and their opinions didn’t matter much even if they had. .clover-flower {font-family:'trebuchet ms', verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; letter-spacing:0px; word-spacing:2px; text-align: justify; margin:0px 25px; background-image:url(http://anna.sleepyglow.net/images/souls ... flower.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding:0px 10px 30px 10px; margin:5px auto; width:500px; } .clover-flower .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px; text-align:justify; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; margin:5px auto; width:100%;} .clover-flower .tagline .sub {font-size:11px; font-weight:bold; font-style:italic; } .clover-flower .wc {text-transform: uppercase; font-weight:bold; font-style:normal;} .clover-flower p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding:0px 5px;} .clover-flower b {letter-spacing:1px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:12px; letter-spacing:-.05em;} .clover-flower u {text-decoration:none; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; font-style:italic; font-variantmall-caps; } </style>
- Sirius Revlis - 05-13-2011
Word Count :: 3+ Oh, she blushed, and it was so sinfully enchanting! Like forbidden fruit ripening. And he, the Serpent, taunting poor Eve with his seductive whisperings. The smile that had haunted his sharp maw brightened wickedly, curling like the Cheshire cat's. What a delightful creature! He wanted to know more of her - All of her, in a way that he had wanted very few before. Generally a reserved gentleman, practical and canny, Sirius thought little of the sizzle of lust or wantonness, much preferring his cold control to the passionate lack there-of. But this girl, this fragile, stupid girl, arose a hungering beast within him. It lurked now, just behind the engorged pupils rimmed in phosphorescent olive, swelling to claim more of her delicate features.

Do want!! And sorry that this got ridiculously long. Also, some PP at the end there. Let me know if it's a no-no. Oh how everything had changed so easily, and yet so undetectable. It was as if the slow, steady creep made all of the changes less noticeable, but if you stopped to reflect on it all, you realized just how much had changed. The coyote girl was not the same hippie child she had been growing up amongst the others of Juniper Peace. She hadn’t realized that so much had changed, but she supposed Inferni and her new lifestyle had molded her into something new. Sure, she still possessed many of the same qualities (for that was what made her Clover), but many of her views had been changed so easily that she could hardly trace back to the planted seeds that had led her astray in the first place. Simply, life had been about peace and love. The young coyote had learned to appreciate all of Mother Earth’s creations and to show them all the same amount of respect, whether they be fellow coyotes or the crickets that chirped their chorus when the sun fell. Clover had watched the others easily display their love through gestures of affection, though she did not fully understand all the things these actions entailed at the time. She would not openly practice love like that until she grew older, but now she was aware of the idea. As adolescent blossomed into adulthood, mind and body began to work in unison to better understand and communicate those ideas. But love was not something to be stingy about; the girl was to offer it openly to anyone who would accept. Or so, she was led to believe. Past excursions with lovers were not things brewed from passion. Simply, it was making love; more love for Mother Earth, for it was what she wanted her beautiful creatures to do. Create and spread love, always. But things had changed for the Inferni girl, and she was not sure what to think anymore. This man, with those fierce, yet enchanting olive green eyes lured her in a way she had not been lured before. Clover had many times felt the foolishness of trivial crushes, but now that she had grown older, there was something more powerful to her feelings now. The way the man sat beside her, closing the distance between them, caused Clover’s body to react in a way she wasn’t sure how to process. It was clear she felt an attraction to him, but it was not the same as it had been before – with the boy from Juniper Peace, with Harlowe, with Attila... Sirius had initiated something entirely different in Clover Lykoi, and it was enough to illicit a strange fear in her. And yet, she embraced this sense of danger, for it was not the hostile danger that often plagued Inferni. It was something different all its own. A forbidden danger. She couldn’t quite place a finger on it. Whatever it was, it got the girl’s heart beating a little faster beneath the cage of ribs with its blanket of tawny fur. "Yes," she sighed, both pale yellow eyes becoming momentarily lidded as she focused on the presence of his fingers amongst the gold of her hair. "So difficult," soft voice mirrored, as she tried to push away the thoughts of her father. Razekiel had been accused of the most terrible things, and Clover wasn’t sure whether or not she wanted to believe them. It seemed as if Micah did, and that broke her heart. Could her father really be such a cruel hearted man? Was he capable of killing Clover’s own sister, let alone the alphas of Juniper Peace? She did not often think of these things for they weighted her heart, and Clover found herself blinking to dispel the collecting dampness amongst pale straw. Sirius would not see her cry. She would not allow herself to become so weak. Though she wanted Sirius to be her savior, she wasn’t quite ready to become that vulnerable. Clover simply did not want to go there. His words helped Clover climb out of the sadness of her own thoughts, and she was able to blink away the pending tears for certain. Her gaze then went again to the man’s face, studying the olive she had grown to like so much over this short interaction and the dark locks that framed his features. The only way to describe him was devilishly handsome, for there was an edge to those inviting features; a sharpness, which perhaps contributed to that sense of danger Clover had been considering. "You’re alone?" She spoke timidly, for she was afraid that even though she had surpassed the tears, that the emotion would linger in her voice enough to break it. It seemed, however, as if she would be alright. Though she intended to pry further, his sudden change in topic once again inspired the bloom of rose along her cheekbones and Clover dipped her head just a fraction, so that her waves tumbled forward just slightly. "You flatter me, love," and she daringly lifted a hand to graze his amongst her waves, before both let their fingers fall away. That brush sprung butterflies to life; if only he knew. "So soon?" Though his gaze had been averted from her, Clover did not waste the opportunity to look at him. Her gaze studied the powerful line of his jaw, wondering what it was that he was thinking now. If he was alone in the mountains, why must he leave her now? "I’d be lost without my savior," she spoke then, the playful tease of her words punctuated by another coy smile. She wanted anything to lure him to stay, but the Inferni coyote feared that the handsome man would soon slip from her grasp. What would her sisters think if she suddenly disappeared deeper into the mountains with this mysterious man? Would they miss her? She entertained thoughts, but they did not last long. She was sure it was all just childish fantasy, of course. .clover-flower {font-family:'trebuchet ms', verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; letter-spacing:0px; word-spacing:2px; text-align: justify; margin:0px 25px; background-image:url(http://anna.sleepyglow.net/images/souls ... flower.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding:0px 10px 30px 10px; margin:5px auto; width:500px; } .clover-flower .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px; text-align:justify; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; margin:5px auto; width:100%;} .clover-flower .tagline .sub {font-size:11px; font-weight:bold; font-style:italic; } .clover-flower .wc {text-transform: uppercase; font-weight:bold; font-style:normal;} .clover-flower p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding:0px 5px;} .clover-flower b {letter-spacing:1px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:12px; letter-spacing:-.05em;} .clover-flower u {text-decoration:none; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; font-style:italic; font-variantmall-caps; } </style>
- Sirius Revlis - 05-14-2011
Word Count :: 3+ As her gaze traipsed his brooding features, Sirius was in fact thinking of no noble sentiments, no romantic poetry with which to woo the sun-spun angel. He thought of his plans, as was so frequently his urge to do - He thought of the girl's body, and how warm it would feel against his hard angles. He thought of the fluttering heartbeats of the hares in the mountain, one doomed tonight to quench the ravenous hunger that Clover had helped fuel within him.

XD But her attempt had not worked, it seemed. No matter how coy and teasing her features, it seemed as if the mysterious man was hell bent on leaving her so suddenly. Though straw eyes studied his frame as he rose to full height, they quickly swept away in disappointment. He was a gorgeous creature, but he wasn’t hers. Not yet, at least. Sirius had better things to do than to entertain the fantasies of the helpless hippie girl. Instead, she studied the horizon and noticed that the afternoon had indeed began to edge towards dusk. There was still plenty of time before nightfall, but perhaps it would be wise to head home now if she wanted to sleep in the comfort of D’Neville before night fall. Though, the girl was sure she’d be equally as happy spending the night beneath the stars, where her fantasies could seem more attainable. "Of course," she spoke in response to his apology. Clover could not possibly hold a grudge against this strangely beautiful beast, even though she was hurt by the sudden need for departure. Things never turned out the way you foresaw them in your head. This outing was no exception. A hand was extended, accompanied by the song of his soothing tenor voice. Was it stupid that she wanted to deny him? If only to see if it might strike some sort of response in him. And not just any response, a certain response. She wanted him to protest her denial; to urge her to oblige him. He was, after all, the gentleman. But Clover couldn’t even allow herself to do that, for fear he would not act in the way she wished of him. And so instead, she agreed. "That would be lovely," she told him, extending her own hand to find the warm of his creamy glove. How she wanted those fingers to curl around her own and linger there, but the Inferni coyote knew all too well that he would soon slip from her grasp, and her sight. .clover-flower {font-family:'trebuchet ms', verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; letter-spacing:0px; word-spacing:2px; text-align: justify; margin:0px 25px; background-image:url(http://anna.sleepyglow.net/images/souls ... flower.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding:0px 10px 50px 10px; margin:5px auto; width:500px; } .clover-flower .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px; text-align:justify; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; margin:5px auto; width:100%;} .clover-flower .tagline .sub {font-size:11px; font-weight:bold; font-style:italic; } .clover-flower .wc {text-transform: uppercase; font-weight:bold; font-style:normal;} .clover-flower p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding:0px 5px;} .clover-flower b {letter-spacing:1px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:12px; letter-spacing:-.05em;} .clover-flower u {text-decoration:none; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; font-style:italic; font-variantmall-caps; } </style>
- Sirius Revlis - 05-17-2011
Word Count :: 3+ Such a winsome creature she was, so elegantly crafted. Her words flowed with subtle sadness, and the Hunter was pleased to know that she wished his presence to linger. It fed an insolent and heavy ego, which he would have to be wary of in the days to come. There was too much at stake to throw away by being foolhardy self-assured, and this was one of the reasons why he sought to part so suddenly from her company.
