Word Count → 785 :: I rambled about nothing, so this is weird. :3 Finally, after all of that cold weather and stupid rain they had been plagued with for so long, the skies had actually cleared up and the air had developed a slight warmth. It was so refreshing to know that winter’s grip had loosened so significantly, and if not for the cold nights, Clover would have assumed it had lost its touch altogether. She would not waste a day like today; not at all. At dawn, the Inferni coyote quickly scrambled her things together into her knapsack, dressed herself in her usual adornments, and fled the mansion in order to find Daisy. Though she didn’t hold much against the coyote clan, she did not want to spend her day within its gruesome bone decorated borders. Cover had a plan, and she intended to follow it. The first hours of the morning were spent traveling from the mansion to the other side of the clan’s territory. Though she was eager to be free from Inferni’s borders, she did not push Daisy too hard just yet. Clover wanted to be able to enjoy the morning hours, in which it was most fascinating to see all walks of life rise from their slumber and join in the beautiful harmony in which Mother Earth created them. It was times like these when she felt most connected to her birth pack, and Clover reminded herself of the important things in life. Adolescence had served to confuse the girl about her childhood values and what her life truly meant, but she was slowly finding her way through the world. Perhaps things had not been as graceful as she had hoped, but Clover was not upset with the outcome of things. She had been reunited with her family, and that was what had mattered most at the time. She loved her sisters dearly, as well as her brother, but somehow it seemed as if they had all fallen into place. Clover was still searching for hers. Somehow, she was becoming less convinced that Inferni was it. It was on this thought that prompted her trip. Clover was returning home, so to speak. For months, Drifter Bay had served as a temporary place for Clover to rest her head at night. A dilapidated shack had offered refuge for her things, while outside she had even begun her garden. She had painstakingly transferred her plants to the greenhouse of Inferni (though had lost many) and knew there would not be anything left. Still, she wanted to return to the peaceful ambiance of her little home and think things through. Though Clover did not necessarily want to be on her own again, for that was what had brought on the small bought of depression, she did miss the sense of freedom she had experienced then. Within Inferni’s borders, somehow she felt like a caged bird. Clover only wanted to spread her wings. It was early afternoon by the time the coyote and mare duo came into view of their destination. Clover dismounted, while Daisy wandered off to find one of the many streams that broke off of the river just to the west. The shoreline was within earshot, but the shack itself was settled far enough into the bay that it stood within a grove of trees. As she expected, it was just as ramshackle and depressing as she had left it, though it still somehow retained some sense of charm. Perhaps it was the fond memories she had formed here that prevented the rotting wood from tainting her impression. Another hour easily went by, and Clover found herself situated not far from her abandoned shack, sprawled out on her familiar purple tapestry with her guitar cradled in her lap and her knapsack at her side. The mason jar with all of its lovely contents had been momentarily abandoned at her side, though a joint had found its way in amongst the golden waves of her hair and the white braids. The hippie child was more concerned with her music than she was with anything else. She missed the way members of Juniper Peace would get together to make wonderful strings of melodies together. Even now, as fingers strummed away at the guitar strings, Clover was reminded of her encounter with Daisuke, the unusual punk male who had found Clover amongst the sunflowers not far from here, and had stayed with her to make music for awhile. Like many times before, it was only the sound of her voice and soft guitar strums that filled the air, but if one really listened, they could hear the sounds of nature intertwine to create something more lovely that the girl’s talents already were. Clover herself could recognize that. .clover-flower {font-family:'trebuchet ms', verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; letter-spacing:0px; word-spacing:2px; text-align: justify; margin:0px 25px; background-image:url(http://anna.sleepyglow.net/images/souls ... flower.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding:0px 10px 30px 10px; margin:5px auto; width:500px; } .clover-flower .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px; text-align:justify; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; margin:5px auto; width:100%;} .clover-flower .tagline .sub {font-size:11px; font-weight:bold; font-style:italic; } .clover-flower .wc {text-transform: uppercase; font-weight:bold; font-style:normal;} .clover-flower p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding:0px 5px;} .clover-flower b {letter-spacing:1px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:12px; letter-spacing:-.05em;} .clover-flower u {text-decoration:none; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; font-style:italic; font-variantmall-caps; } </style>
- Sirius Revlis - 05-17-2011
Word Count » 5+ Today, the man ventured beyond the land he had claimed as his own. It was with elegant pride that he passed the engraved trees that marked Salsola's border, pausing a moment to carve at one carved image with a wickedly clawed finger so as to sharpen it. With a pleased smile, the Hunter continued on his way - Melting into the forest and becoming invisible.

The sounds simply found her. The girl was easily pulled away into a world of her own – one in which nature was exemplified in its beauty. Clover could not recognize the lurking of the shadows, but she soon materialized an image of a man stepping from those depths. An abrupt finish found the sounds of both soft strings and delicate humming. After the hippie child’s name was spoken, a smile swept across her features easily. "My savior," she called, voice dipped in honey and halo of golden waves shining. The guitar easily found the sanctuary of the purple tapestry while Clover hopped to her feet, the man stepping closer still. Regardless whether he intended to stop before fully closing the distance between them, Clover reduced it to nothing. A hand lifted, pale golden eyes tracing apple for recognition, and lightly brushed against the scars adorning his chest. "You’ve been busy," she chimed softly, letting her fingers fall away and taking a step back. "Will you sit with me awhile?" A hand swept out at her side, suggesting the patch of woven purple as their refuge. No doubt the man had something on his mind to do, but Clover would not allow him to leave so quickly. The man had already set something in motion beneath her ribs, and she couldn’t deny its intentions. .clover-flower {font-family:'trebuchet ms', verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; letter-spacing:0px; word-spacing:2px; text-align: justify; margin:0px 25px; background-image:url(http://anna.sleepyglow.net/images/souls ... flower.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding:0px 10px 30px 10px; margin:5px auto; width:500px; } .clover-flower .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px; text-align:justify; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; margin:5px auto; width:100%;} .clover-flower .tagline .sub {font-size:11px; font-weight:bold; font-style:italic; } .clover-flower .wc {text-transform: uppercase; font-weight:bold; font-style:normal;} .clover-flower p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding:0px 5px;} .clover-flower b {letter-spacing:1px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:12px; letter-spacing:-.05em;} .clover-flower u {text-decoration:none; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; font-style:italic; font-variantmall-caps; } </style>
- Sirius Revlis - 06-08-2011
Word Count » 3+ It pleased him, the way her beautiful golden eyes filled with recognition and then joy as they settled on the dark planes of his face. The vain creature thought himself handsome, but it was pleasant to be reminded of his lure once in a while. Her music stopped instantly, and that brought a slight frown of malcontent, for he had enjoyed the sweet trilling that came from the blue-blooded canary. But her voice alone was soothing enough, and before the tall, lean male could move closer to her, Clover had closed the sweet distance between them.

Lithe form moved with the fluttering grace of a butterfly and easily found the purple weave. All the while pale yellow studied the dark man’s rugged form, observing the ripple of lean muscle as he moved, tracing his powerful jaw line, lusting for candy apple, before coyly falling away to her own slender legs crossed beneath her. Though his eyes fell upon the tapestry, Clover selfishly took his words’ attention. He would never know the way his voice, so deep and alluring, could make her chest feel weak. "I’m surprised to find you here," she told him then, eyes lifting to study his brooding features once more. He was a changed man, she could see. Clover could not tell why, but something about Sirius was not the same from when she had met him on the edges of Halcyon those weeks ago. The only way the hippie girl could think to describe it was that his aura had changed. There was something in the air that surrounded Sirius that had not been there before. And whatever it was, it was alluring. The Lykoi child could feel this unknown thing pulling her closer to the thistle king, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. "Rather far from home, aren’t you love?" To Clover, Sirius was a man of the mountain; perhaps a predator of the mountain. To be this far along the bay, Halcyon had been left behind. She was guilty of traveling too, of course, but she couldn’t help but think this was somehow a sign from Mother Earth. It was such a brilliant coincidence, after all. And best of all, the coyote girl felt free. Clover could see the iron bars swinging open and the flutter of her wings as they tasted the freedom in stretching their entire span. Now it was time to fly away, if only he would once again teach her how. .clover-flower {font-family:'trebuchet ms', verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; letter-spacing:0px; word-spacing:2px; text-align: justify; margin:0px 25px; background-image:url(http://anna.sleepyglow.net/images/souls ... flower.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding:0px 10px 30px 10px; margin:5px auto; width:500px; } .clover-flower .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px; text-align:justify; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; margin:5px auto; width:100%;} .clover-flower .tagline .sub {font-size:11px; font-weight:bold; font-style:italic; } .clover-flower .wc {text-transform: uppercase; font-weight:bold; font-style:normal;} .clover-flower p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding:0px 5px;} .clover-flower b {letter-spacing:1px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:12px; letter-spacing:-.05em;} .clover-flower u {text-decoration:none; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; font-style:italic; font-variantmall-caps; } </style>
- Sirius Revlis - 06-26-2011
Word Count » 3+ ooc: hurry up and get in my pants <33 While the sweet flowerchild dreamed pretty rosy poetry of escaping her metaphorical bars, Sirius was contemplating how best to imprison her. He was a practical man, and would not have dared steal sweet wanderers from beneath Gabriel's nose as a member of Anathema. But as the Thistle King, his greed for such a prize could remain unchecked. He wanted Clover Lykoi, and he would have her - It was only a matter of how.

Her prince charming had come to rescue her, it seemed. Pale yellow eyes broadened in anticipation of his words, smooth and deep. She would not allow his words to cause her offense as he said, and she eagerly offered her hand and found comfort in the warmth she found when his overlapped hers. That aura she had sensed had pushed outwards while Sirius leaned closer, and Clover was sure she could feel it pulling her in. Something in the back of her mind told her to be slightly cautious, but she allowed herself to be swallowed whole. Any sensible person would ask questions at this point, but Clover somehow didn’t think that it really mattered. He had come for her, so it seemed, and she knew deep in her heart that she had been ready for this moment for quite some time. She was his for the taking. The shack sat forgotten now, as did her home in Inferni and even the mare that had wandered off to drink. In the young coyote’s eyes, there was only the dark, brooding features of the man that sat in front of her, and that was all that really mattered. She wasn’t sure what her heart was trying to tell her – everything was so confusing and muddled, and yet somehow none of that mattered. He was so enchanting, so alluring, that Clover couldn’t possibly deny him what he wanted. And even if she did, she knew it would only cause her grief; because in the end, she realized he was there to give her what she too wanted. Straw yellow eyes focused intently on candy apple, and the softest of smiles grew a serious edge. Though excitement bubbled beneath her exterior, she wanted him to know that she was ready to see this kingdom of his. She would leave behind her family in Inferni if that was what he wanted. Take me, Sirius," came her soft reply. .clover-flower {font-family:'trebuchet ms', verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; letter-spacing:0px; word-spacing:2px; text-align: justify; margin:0px 25px; background-image:url(http://anna.sleepyglow.net/images/souls ... flower.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding:0px 10px 30px 10px; margin:5px auto; width:500px; } .clover-flower .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px; text-align:justify; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; margin:5px auto; width:100%;} .clover-flower .tagline .sub {font-size:11px; font-weight:bold; font-style:italic; } .clover-flower .wc {text-transform: uppercase; font-weight:bold; font-style:normal;} .clover-flower p {text-indent: 25px; margin:0px; padding:0px 5px;} .clover-flower b {letter-spacing:1px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:12px; letter-spacing:-.05em;} .clover-flower u {text-decoration:none; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; font-style:italic; font-variantmall-caps; } </style>
- Sirius Revlis - 07-06-2011
