- Miqui Kimaris - 05-19-2011

Correct me if I say anything wrong or portray him incorrectly in any way! - Tlantli Kimaris - 05-20-2011
This is a crappy post! Sorry. >.> The rest will be better! mall-caps;font-variantmall-caps;letter-spacing:4px;">THE SPARK OF DAWNShe'd been tending to the skins of the bear's paws, fitting them ever so gently to her own dainty golden hands; they were fastened with carved buttons, the same found on her faded satchel. Since Sirius gave them to her, her pride had been through the roof. To get a gift from her handsome leader was the utmost honor in the world of the Kimaris woman, and to return the honor, she knew just what to do. They slipped easily over her hands, the separate fingers of the ursine paws offering some mobility despite the strange encumbrance. She'd simply have to get used to it, she decided. Fiery eyes studied the rounded shape as she held out one hand before her fae-like muzzle. The scent of her brother's approach caused the young woman to look up, removing the gloves and stuffing them beneath her bedding. She turned and stood to prepare for his presence, pushing back the choppy, dark locks of her mane. Spending time with her brother brought her some sense of joy, though she could tell that he wasn't often so enthusiastic. Could she help it if her knowledge of war was more so than his? No, she couldn't, but perhaps she had been too pompous about it in the past. If only he knew what his sister had done to get them to Freetown. A heavy sigh escaped her jaws, head shaking from side to side as she left the confines of the space she'd been using as a makeshift home, searching for the subtly older man. "Miqui, aye need you to halp me with somet'ing, please?" She didn't, but that was no reason not to find something for him to do. <style> .ns01 {margin:0px auto;width:450px;background-color:none;background-image:none;background-position:top middle;background-repeat:no-repeat;border:none;padding:0px;font-family:times new roman, sans-serif;font-size:13px;line-height:16px;letter-spacing:.5px;text-align:justify;margin-top:15px;} .ns01-ooc {font-style:italic;font-size:11px;margin:2px; padding:0px;text-align:left;} .ns01 p {text-indent:25px;margin:0px;padding:5px 10px;} .ns01 b {font-weight:bold;letter-spacing:1px;} .ns01 i {font-style:italic;letter-spacing:1px;} </style>
- Miqui Kimaris - 05-20-2011

- Tlantli Kimaris - 05-26-2011
Sorry for the wait on this! I'm not usually this slow. <3 A bit of PP as far as leading him toward her 'home' and whatnot. I can change it if you'd like. No smile graced his jaws; this did not surprise the Crone, for Miqui had always been a moody sort. His grumble of agreement caused the smile on her black-lined jaws to widen, and one androgynous hand reached out to grab his arm. "You ahre always ahft use to me, Miqui." His laughter filled her with a sense of comfort and affection as she came closer still, pushing herself up on her toes to allow herself to greet him with a gentle nuzzle to the cheek. This was what had become a common thing since their move from the caves of Anathema, not only with Tlantli Kimaris, but with others of the family. An affectionate greeting, even if one did not feel any sense of affection toward the one who received it. As it was, she loved her brother dearly, and the gentle nuzzle he received was sincere and warm. "Aye haft been trying to finesh maye work on the membars of this place; we ahre all going to haft a special mahrk, and it ess your turn, mi amor." Yes, she would find a use for him even if there truly wasn't one. After all, he was her brother. Apart from Citlali, who had spent so long with his aunt during their move from Eterne to the caves of Anathema, Miqui was her only true family in the area. Imacai was gone. Xochime? She didn't care about Xochime, though she knew her brother missed their eldest sister. Taking a grip of his wrist, she led him away from their meeting place, into the depths of the area she had been using as a simple resting place. "You trust me, yes?" An easy question. She wouldn't start to cut into her brother's flesh without knowledge that he trusted his sister. <style> .ns01 {margin:0px auto;width:450px;background-color:none;background-image:none;background-position:top middle;background-repeat:no-repeat;border:none;padding:0px;font-family:times new roman, sans-serif;font-size:13px;line-height:16px;letter-spacing:.5px;text-align:justify;margin-top:15px;} .ns01-ooc {font-style:italic;font-size:11px;margin:2px; padding:0px;text-align:left;} .ns01 p {text-indent:25px;margin:0px;padding:5px 10px;} .ns01 b {font-weight:bold;letter-spacing:1px;} .ns01 i {font-style:italic;letter-spacing:1px;} </style>
- Miqui Kimaris - 06-08-2011
so sorry for the wait Miqui returned his sister's greeting with his own show of affection. Though he was not a particularly touchy or loving individual, Miqui had come to realize that in Salsola affection was custom, much to his dismay. He had no qualms with it when it came to Tlantli, but among those he was less comfortable around the man felt extremely uneasy. Miqui listened intently to the english words that spilled choppily from his sister's mouth. He raised an eyebrow in interest as she spoke of a special marking and the man found himself with a feeling of slight excitement at learning just what exactly she meant. His eyes searched his sister for some clue as to what was to come for him, but he figured he'd soon enough find out for himself and did not prod. Miqui simply nodded and followed Tlantli as she led him toward some unidentified area of the pack.
The Kimaris man was not a fan of surprises, and for this reason his excitement was mixed with hesitation. Of course, he wasn't afraid of much of anything considering the horrors he'd already been through in his life, but he liked to know what he was getting himself into if at all possible and the question she posed him made him wary. Of course he trusted his sister, though for her to ask such a question meant that whatever was to come wasn't going to be something he'd agree to for just anyone. "I do," he answered slowly. "What ees thees marking you speak of, seester?" he asked cautiously, waiting for further explanation before he allowed her to go to work. .Miqui_01 .ooc {font-style:italic; font-size:11px;} .Miqui_01 p {padding:2px 0px; margin:0px; text-indent:35px;} .Miqui_01 b {color:#efe5b5; letter-spacing:-.2px; text-shadow: 1px 1px 1px #000000;} .Miqui_01 {background-color:#0f0a08; background-image:url(http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/1183/miquiroad.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#000000; letter-spacing:.4px; word-spacing:.3px; line-height:16px; width:480px; text-align:justify; margin:0px auto; border:1px solid #000000; } .Miqui_01 .inner {margin:0px 5px 150px 5px; padding:15px; background-image:url(http://soulsrpg.com/images/pride/templa ... ate_bg.png); border-size:1px; border-width:1px; border-style: none solid solid solid; border-color:#0F0F1A;} .Miqui_01 p.wordcount {color:#ffffff; letter-spacing:0px; font-size:11px; border-top:1px solid #000000; text-align:center; padding:0px 5px; text-transform:uppercase; margin:0px 15px 15px 15px; text-indent:0px;} </style>
- Tlantli Kimaris - 06-09-2011
This post is short and ugly. T_T But I love your Miqui table. O_O mall-caps;font-variantmall-caps;letter-spacing:4px;">THE SPARK OF DAWNGlee filled her thoughts at the chance to brand Miqui a member of the new family, for her brother had remained a steadfast influence on the life of the petite warrior woman; she had no desire to see him leave her. He followed without resistance as his smaller sister led him to the place she'd been using to sleep. It wasn't until she stopped, gathering together the items necessary to successfully mark him without causing permanent harm, that his voice betrayed caution. For a moment, she frowned. He trusted her, yet he was cautious? She didn't see why anyone would be so concerned. It wasn't as if she planned to remove his arm. "It ess the same mahrk that evaryone hast been getting." Her frown was more pronounced as she spoke, reaching out one androgynous feminine hand to trace the inward-pointing arrows on the shoulder of the larger male. "It takes a long time, but it don't hurt too much, mi amor." The Crone herself had yet to receive the mark, but Tlantli had her own plans for the Hand of Eris. The petite golden creature sat inelegantly on the ground, gazing up at her warrior brother from her place. One hand gently patted the earth beside her in a gesture that indicated for him to sit. <style> .ns01 {margin:0px auto;width:450px;background-color:none;background-image:none;background-position:top middle;background-repeat:no-repeat;border:none;padding:0px;font-family:times new roman, sans-serif;font-size:13px;line-height:16px;letter-spacing:.5px;text-align:justify;margin-top:15px;} .ns01-ooc {font-style:italic;font-size:11px;margin:2px; padding:0px;text-align:left;} .ns01 p {text-indent:25px;margin:0px;padding:5px 10px;} .ns01 b {font-weight:bold;letter-spacing:1px;} .ns01 i {font-style:italic;letter-spacing:1px;} </style>
|
