- Lilin Soulstorm - 05-30-2012
(371) private for james - amherst, june 6th, 12:37pm. optime.:> The early summer weather had continued sunny and humid, leaving her yearning for a cool sanctuary to spend the day’s apex. In times like these, when the sun shone unbearably bright on her dichotomous bed of curls, Lilin often sought refuge at the lake or in the city, as was the case today. A very small part of Amherst belonged to Vinatta; much too small of a division to keep the Soulstorm heir confined to the lands she called home. Beyond claimed borders laid the unknown, a world to discover and secrets to unveil. Saul had expressed his desire to accompany her on today’s excursion earlier that morning and they had arranged to meet each other when the sun was at its meridian. It worried her none when her beau had failed to arrive when she did; he would have the easiest time tracking her down if she remained within close proximity- and she did. Lilin had relocated further east of their rendezvous point and begun her scavenging session prematurely, starting with the warehouses once upon a time used for storage purposes. The commercial area of the neighbourhood held a certain appeal for her. Perhaps because it was so different from the residential districts she’d seen; the tools and machinery found in most buildings explored thus far were both eerie and fascinating. A seemingly endless row of storage units stretched out before her- a uniquely designed, never seen before structure. There were well over thirty doors in sight, each withholding a treasure from the outside world. Some doors were still sealed and others lacked a padlock altogether. She would need Saul’s help with well-preserved ones; they had brought many a tools from Hilsburn with them to New Brunswick. Perhaps one of them would be useful enough to break open the security devices. After a considerable amount of pulling and tugging, Lilin abandoned sliding door number one when she finally understood that it wouldn’t budge. The second one was already open, revealing various sized crates and other containers within. This unit had been already searched but would have to do until Saul caught up with her, and so in she went; wasting little time before rummaging through the first packing box's content. #lillin-1 .txtooc { text-align:left; font-size:12px; font-family:arial, serif; text-transform:none; font-style:italic; font-weight:normal; } #lillin-1 .txtooc .word { font-weight:bold; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-style:normal;} #lillin-1 b { letter-spacing:-.5px; font-family: arial, serif; font-size: 11px; }. #lillin-1 u { text-decoration: none; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; } #lillin-1 b.npc { letter-spacing:.5px; font-style:italic; font-weight:normal; } #lillin-1 p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} #lillin-1 {margin:0px auto; width:80%; background-color:none; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/ijCRS.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:none; padding: 80px 0px 0px 0px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size:11px; color:#111111; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Ember Phoenix - 06-04-2012
- Lilin Soulstorm - 06-09-2012
(315) no worries jamesbutt.:> Nimble fingers dived into the box's contents, manipulating different fabrics and sorting through clothing. Most items were pushed aside; either too worn or not quite corresponding to what she was looking for. Bedding such as blankets or bedspread would be ideal in prevision of an impending winter. Anything that would provide a considerable touch of warmth during the freezing period. They had more mouths to feed and thus, more friends and family to keep sheltered from mother nature. Lilin had already taken the initiative to salvage whatever pelts the boys brought home from their hunting sessions; using the salts she'd obtained from evaporated sea water brought back to Jordheim. The Soulstorm heir had stored them away in an unclaimed house where they would remain out of sight until they could use them. A lilac shawl's thread hooked itself to one of her digits, which she lifted out of the cardbox to examine more closely. It was pretty but quite unpractical, she mused; noting the little holes adorning the fabric. The sound of four hooves hitting the pavement announced what should have been her beau's arrival. Assumptions were never good, however. ''Saul! In here!'' she called out, all the while closing in on the short distance between her standing point and the storage unit's entrance. Her receivers weren't as pricked and alert as they should have been - her strong expectations abolishing the possibility of encountering someone else this far out in the city. It was only when she brought a hand up to shield her eyes from the scorching sunlight, intently focused on the silhouette that should have been masculine, that understanding washed over her. Someone was headed her way but that person was undoubtedly female and the horse wasn't one of Saul's either. ''Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you were someone else,'' she admitted apologetically when the rider was within talking range. #lillin-1 .txtooc { text-align:left; font-size:12px; font-family:arial, serif; text-transform:none; font-style:italic; font-weight:normal; } #lillin-1 .txtooc .word { font-weight:bold; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-style:normal;} #lillin-1 b { letter-spacing:-.5px; font-family: arial, serif; font-size: 11px; }. #lillin-1 u { text-decoration: none; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; } #lillin-1 b.npc { letter-spacing:.5px; font-style:italic; font-weight:normal; } #lillin-1 p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} #lillin-1 {margin:0px auto; width:80%; background-color:none; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/ijCRS.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:none; padding: 80px 0px 0px 0px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size:11px; color:#111111; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Ember Phoenix - 06-23-2012
