- Baird Byrne - 07-15-2012 [html] Word Count :: 661Back dated to 13.07.12. Optime form (loinclothed.) Pan, Gelar and 2 quoll pups present. The Sugarwoods Baird was glad that he was out of the mountains, he'd been walking through forests for two days now and he loved it. The mountainous terrain reminded him little of home, but it was too much of a reminder for him, at least the forests of Nova Scotia had no resemblance to the forests of home. He admired the tall trees and all of the very green foliage, aware that he stood out like a sore thumb in the brown and green environment, his sandy fur better suited to the deserts of the Australian outback. He hummed as he walked, the tune one that had been passed down through the dingo tribe that he had been born into, he couldn't remember all of the lyrics but he knew that they suited him well, being all about an Aussie traveller that still called only one place home; The Lucky Country itself. Unfortunately, it was nearly impossible for her to walk with her belly so large, so she decided to go for a ride instead. Finding Brynn grazing in a field with Blessing and Bella, Isa gave a small whistle, calling for the massive draft horse. Quickly trotting up to her side, Isa petted the stallion’s neck as he lowered himself down, allowing the pregnant female an easier way onto his back. The two walked out of Casa and came across a small herd of deer. It was too bad she wouldn’t really be able to hunt them, they looked delicious. Hadley probably already had something to eat for her back at the house anyways. Brynn carried her outside of Casa for a little while until she heard a voice up ahead. Once the man came into view, she smiled and gave him a small greeting as Brynn lowered himself down to the ground again. Hello there. She stayed close to Brynn, remembering the last time she had ran into a man while on her own. Forcing the memory out of her head, she turned her attention back to the man before her, watching him closely but still appearing friendly. She wouldn’t make that mistake again. - Baird Byrne - 07-18-2012 [html] Word Count :: 334Blurggggh post. Baird flicked his ears forward as the sound of hooves reached him, he looked to the skies again, panic in his green gaze. He let another sharp bark out desperately calling to Gelar. He lowered his muzzle in time for the other canine to come into view. She looked to be heavily pregnant, the horse that she rode easily bore her weight though. The equine seemed to know exactly how to react to his rider and he sank to the floor, all four legs folding underneath him, allowing the woman to disembark. Baird raised a hand-paw in greeting, managing to wipe the panic from his face in time, or so he thought, "G'day ma'am. Beaut of a day, ain't it?" He drawled, allowing his muzzle to bow a little in respect. He had stopped his forward motion and was stood a few paces from the rotund woman, his hand-paws now crossed behind his back. He was about to comment on her obvious pregnancy when, like sarcasm sensors, Pan and Gelar dropped from the trees and thudded into him. The quoll landed on his back, her sharp claws digging into his fur and skin, her two pups jumped as she landed, her sudden appearance startling them. Gelar landed on his head heavily, his clawed feet tangling in Bairds blonde headfur. Baird jumped a mile, a yelp of surprise erupting from his maw.
