I realized shortly after I had Null join Salsola hat I wanted her to have a canine companion NPC. I'm aware that I'm supposed to write a read only thread to have him enter the pack, but should I reference the leader? In what way? Should I just say that the Boss OK-ed it or what?

This is a question that's better directed to your leader! :O You could ask if she would mind you referencing her character in your thread.
