- Ayegali Kala - 12-02-2008
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v222/ ... table2.png); background-position: bottom center; background-repeat: no-repeat;"> Anyone feel free to jump in. I don't think we'll go with a real posting order or anything, just as long as we have everyone we need. XD She showered them each with kisses, down across their cheeks and noses, as they moved towards their horses. There was a sadness that hung in the air around each of them, a hesitant feeling and yet an air of knowledge that they must go. The raven woman's eyes brimmed over with tears as each of them turned their horses, all at once turning back to wave at her one more time. "Be safe!" It was all that she could manage without breaking down right then and there, and she was supposed to be the strong one, the leader. Before long she could hardly see them and in an instant the horizon seemed to swallow them up. Ayegali stood there for a time, silver eyes staring out across the distance, hoping that at least one of them would think it was best to stay. It didn't happen though, it wouldn't, because her three siblings knew what they had to do. Making her way across the lands, the place that the rest of them had settled down, she wondered just what she needed to do. There were so few of them now that she hadn't been sure that they would survive, but her siblings had assured her that they would do fine, the wapiti were aplenty and those who remained were capable. It wasn't until she neared her makeshift home, a small deerskin tent hidden beneath the cover of trees, that she decided what needed to be done. Changing direction, she turned away from her home and off toward the middle of the lands to a small hill, the best place she could think of to call to them all. Once there she stood tall, head to the air, and let out a deliberate call to summon them to her. She hadn't explained to them why the rest of the tribe had yet to make it to the lands, though she was certain that they were wondering by now. Truth was, she had only just found out herself, and the fact that they were caught in a blizzard worried her to no end, but now even her own siblings were going out in to it. - Ember Phoenix - 12-03-2008
The sound of the howl rang clear through the lands, weaving between twisted trees and over fallen logs to reach her. The lands, dense with vegetation, had been both her and Ember's makeshift home for the past few days. Although the snow had since covered much of it with a fine powder, greenery was still visible beneath. Tayui shifted, accidentally uncovering a small patch of grass with her paw as she moved. She glanced over at Ember when she heard the girl inhale, letting her gaze remain fixed on the dark child as she began to speak. Tayui nodded slowly as Ember questioned her, sufficiently certain that it would be alright for Ember to answer the call as well. Dawali had already accepted her as a potential pack mate, and she saw no reason for Ember to be denied. "You'll be fine," she reassured the girl. It sounded like it was coming from over there. She nodded quickly, and started off in the direction of the howl. "Alright then, let's go," she beckoned, her mismatched eyes sparkling mischievously. She set off, glancing over her shoulder to check that Ember was indeed following her. She loped through the reserve with a sense of quiet gaiety, excited that this was all coming to fruition. They arrived in time to see Dawali standing beside Ayegali, both decidedly melancholic. "Hello," she greeted them. "This is Ember Phoenix, a dear friend of mine. Would she be permitted to join as well?" - Pilot Haddon - 12-10-2008 Oh hai, I am impulsive. Have a Pilot. -shove-

- Ayegali Kala - 12-10-2008
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v222/ ... table2.png); background-position: bottom center; background-repeat: no-repeat;"> We haz a Pilot! :O We're Pro now. > It didn't take long for the first of them to arrive, which happened to be Dawali, and it caused a careful smile to part the sadness on her face. It didn't take the sadness completely though, for soon enough that same sad frown had taken back the features of the dark woman and shone in silver eyes as she cast them out across the hill. She could hear them coming, the quiet voice and the careful steps that they took, and soon enough Tayui and a stranger arrived to join the two who were already there. There was no need to wait for the others to arrive, she decided suddenly, knowing that they were all close enough that they would hear the news from their friends and family. Before she could begin though, the dark woman eyed the stranger that had been brought along. She watched her a few moments, glancing once at Tayui and then back again before she smiled and gave a careful nod. "Of course." Because the only way to gain trust was to show it and certainly this younger woman had shown Tayui she could be trusted. "The rest of the tribe has fallen behind, caught in bad weather." She said finally, but there was a deep tone to her voice, something that meant that it wasn't just a simple snow storm. "My siblings left out not long ago, they're traveling back to see if they can locate the rest of them, group them up, and lead them back here." Of course, there was a chance that her siblings wouldn't make it to the rest of them. There was a chance that they wouldn't see any of them ever again, but she supposed that was something that didn't need to be spoken. "We'll go ahead and start setting up, I'll mark the borders with Dawali's help." The first sign that Dawali would be given a position as a leader, which she only paused to smile a moment at. "We'll prepare for their arrival so that they won't have to waste time in the cold settling in." Her words fell short though and her gaze swung past the small group that had gathered and quickly settled on the figure that had suddenly appeared. "Hello.." It was all that she could offer the stranger in that moment, not even sure if he had meant to come across them or not. - Ember Phoenix - 12-11-2008
Of course. Two simple words, a single admission, and a quiet acceptance was the only remedy needed to quell Tayui's worries. There had been no quiz, no questions; just trust. Tayui was glad she had managed to earn the leader's trust, even if they had known one another only for a short time. Ayegali's acceptance of Ember allowed Tayui to put more faith in their leader, certain this dark-hued luperci would grow on her. Tayui glanced back at Ember, grinning widely, pausing for a moment to consider her words and get her bearings. Only a few moments later when she saw Pilot approach, his form looming behind Ember's. Ember noticed soon enough, and she was just as delighted as Tayui was to see the male. I haven't seen you in--I didn't know if you were.. Tayui chuckled as Ember tried to formulate a sentence, knowing that she too would do the same. "Pilot," she attempted, glancing over at Dawali, wondering if she should introduce them all. "It's good to see you again." Perhaps later they could all get acquainted; but first, she and Ember needed to get re-acquainted. - Pilot Haddon - 12-15-2008

- Ayegali Kala - 12-15-2008
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v222/ ... table2.png); background-position: bottom center; background-repeat: no-repeat;"> The dark woman stayed silent and simply watched for a time, smiling and taking note of the reactions that the stranger got from their two newest members. From the looks of it he was a traveler, unless he was simply moving about, but the words that were spoken between the three of them seemed to confirm her thoughts. Perhaps he had been away for some time and had only just returned. Whatever the case, Tayui and Ember seemed happy to see him. She turned her gaze to Dawali for a brief moment, watching him with a rather slight smile, and turned to step toward the stranger and the two who had gathered around him. "Ayegali Kala." She offered her own name in return, adding a smile to her pleasantries. "And you aren't interrupting at all." The dark woman assured him, glancing once toward Tayui before turning her attentions back to the male. "We were just settling in here, actually." Ayegali motioned with one hand to the lands that surrounded them as she spoke. "AniWaya, it's called. Feel free to stay around, of course, since it seems you all have some catching up to do." And she smiled at the three of them, sure that her words would be understood by some. - Ember Phoenix - 12-15-2008
- Jazper Rhiannon-Knight - 12-16-2008
OOC: Agh, the shared account said Asha Amara not Jazper! *glares at avatar for being wrong!* IC: Riding slowly across the lands Asha had spent the past few days camping as she traveled, learning hte territories of this new land. With a sigh she released a groan which was shortly follwed by Jaya's voice, 'Do I want to know? The Amara girl rolled her eyes and pouted as the traveled, sniffing the air in attempts to follow a dim trail of her leader. A call rang in her ears as it drifted along with the wind. Red tinted ears perked in unison with her foot gently nudging Aidan. The chocolate colored mustang started forward and Jaya's beats increased, the three all knew the drill. They charged, one mind towards the sight of the call. As the aproched the scent grew. With a twitch of her nose Asha's ears perked once more and her hand moved to the sword that was banging against the horse. With a slight tug on Aidans mane they slowed coming over a hill and into view of a small gathering of wolves. Her father and leader included. Nearing the group Asha dismounted leaving the mustang to roam free as Jaya's solid hawk form landed on her exstended right paw. Drawing him in closer to her chest protectivly as she joined the group. She nodded her greetings as she looked around slightly confused at the strangers, "Hi, I'm Asha Amara." The introduction was conserved, leaving not even a glimps of her previous confusion. - Tayui Aston - 12-25-2008
http://i37.tinypic.com/o9mq3d.png);background-repeat:no-repeat;background-position:top left; padding: 25px; font-family:georgia;">
Tayui could only grin foolishly, letting her body language and open expression speak where words failed her. She found herself nodding in reply to Pilot's words, knowing full well how long it had been since she had last seen him. Far too long, in her opinion. She wondered why he was not in Crimson Dreams, and what could have possibly happened to make him want to leave the pack. He had been one of the wolves to found it, had he not? She wondered what could have happened that caused him to leave (or if the pack had been disbanded, forcing him to seek a new home). Regardless of the circumstances, she would find out the truth in time. Until then, she was glad he was there. After Pilot finished speaking, Ayegali took a few moments to address the group, and later, Pilot. Tayui wondered if he would want to stay there, with them. He and Ember would bring the comforting sense of familiarity with them, and Tayui hoped Dawali, too, would be included. She turned to Pilot, frowning slightly, then shook her head, trying to dispel her worries. "Would you like to stay here? If you need to, that is, if you're not just passing by, perhaps... it would be... nice," she paused, then laughed. Her words were honest, if anything. Though they did not dance with the grace and elegance she liked to think most words were innately imbued with, they carried her feelings well enough, she hoped. She did not want to lose track of Pilot again, but she did not wish to force him to remain here against his will. At the same time, she didn't even know if his appearance meant anything -- perhaps he was just passing by (and all she had was wishful thinking). Tayui began to answer Ember's question, but stopped, realizing Ayegali or Dawali would be better suited to answer such a thing. Although she and Dawali had made their way through much of the lands, there were still parts she had not yet familiarized herself with. She was about to add her own question to the mix when she saw another wolf approach and dismount from a horse, striding forward quickly and addressing the group just as soon. Tayui inclined her head slightly, committing the name to memory, unsure if she should respond. She shook her head, smiling quietly to herself, then extended the smile to the newcomer. "Tayui Aston," she replied with a quick nod to herself. "Enchanted," she murmured quietly, the translation of the greeting sounding different in English (compared to the French enchanté). - Pilot Haddon - 01-15-2009 Sorry guys.

|
