- Asha Amara - 06-08-2009
Thought this thread looked a little lonely. <3 500+ To be home again in her initial birth lands, it was a feeling that she couldn't quite express at first. It felt as if every aspect about her let go and was destined to take it easy from here on out, despite the fact that of the Amara's return, there was certainly much responsibility and duties to uphold. The yearling however felt as if she had earned her time of relaxation, with the perilous journey taken in search of her younger sister Aiyanna and the rest of the AniWaya tribe that many of this current tribe probably didn't know about if Dawali did not recite such history to them. Thankfully the lot of them had been safe and in good spirits. Where they settled was a region that was fairly abundant and diverse; resourceful in prey and clean water. It was more of a convenience for most of the elders that drew back and remained behind, and for that Asha bid them the best of luck in their new settlements. It wasn't to say that the second trailing ground abandoned all hope with the original AniWaya tribe that traveled ahead, they just simply made accommodations with what worked best for them. That was what counted and mattered. Leaving Aiden back by Grandfather's Tears (as he found satisfaction lingering around the cool waters), Asha took the day upon her own whim to travel about the AniWaya lands to see familiar landmarks of hers and visit areas at which she dearly missed passing by. There were so many features about the land that changed with the season, and even with the cause of erosion in some cases. The tribal lands certainly looked more festive, more alive with life in these warmer months. Asha personally always favored the hotter months out of the year than the colder ones, merely because there was much more activity to be had. Speaking of which, her soft gaze spotted a small figure not too far away. Currently in her lupus form, Asha had grown tired of walking on two legs, and for the sake of relaxation with her return, she reverted back to four legs. It seemed as if this small figure was inspecting something, perhaps playing. Seeing as how the initial scent that wafted from this pup was unrecognizable, Asha decided it would be best to take a closer look. The red she-wolf stopped at a comfortable distance, tail wagging casually. The puppy seemed to have obtained a choice of duckling egg, one with a live duckling within! Simply watching the youngster try to figure out the construction and composition of the duckling egg, Asha stood by with a smirk as the interest of the innocent were truly a spectacle to behold in the world. Stepping just a little bit more closer (but not too much, as to not startle her), Asha finally called out to her and her situation in an amused, gentle voice. "Seems like you're the first official friend the duckling has in this world. How does it feel?" New life meeting nose to nose (or, nose to beak) with each other. Truly endearing, it reminded how carefree and mischeivious she had been when she was that young.
- Noir Aston - 06-13-2009
- Asha Amara - 06-20-2009
400+ To be honest, the initial action the girl had upon Asha was quite surprising; one that generated a series of blinks at first from her soft amber gaze. Noting her tail tucking neatly between her legs, and the sudden apprehensive persona the pup took on, Asha was surprised to see such a gesture elicit from her. Was Asha scary in a sense? She didn't think she looked mean, and couldn't pull off a mean enough look to startle anyone (there was either always a pleasant grin or a smirk on the red she-wolf's muzzle anyway). There was slightly puzzlement that settled in, causing her to tilt her head to the side slightly in question to the pup's gestures, but as soon as it came and went, the creamy hued girl relaxed. It was then Asha figured out that it was probably just the instinct of a pup when strangers approached, which was a valid reason enough for any pup to remain apprehensive. The little girl was smart for being cautious, and speaking of which, the faint scent of what smelled like Tayui wafted from her fur? Asha had not seen Tayui since their group first settled in these very lands, and was compelled to know (and be convinced) that Tayui had pups while Asha was on hiatus from AniWaya. Leaving that fact to unravel itself much later on, the focus was upon the little duckling and the puppy who sought out its presence. At the girl's excited reply, Asha's smirk widened along her red mottled muzzle. Observing the newly hatched duckling, it did look very cute in this stage of its life. What stood out even more was the fact this puppy wanted to be a mommy herself one day, in which Asha was slightly surprised to hear such talk come from someone so young yet. When she was a pup, motherhood was oh so far from her mind. "You want to be a mommy already?" She questioned aloud, although there was certainly nothing wrong with wanting to be a mommy so young. Responsibility, however, was a big factor with that. "Well, i'm thinking the duckling probably thinks you're already it's mommy, seeing that you're the first thing its seen since it hatched." And one could certainly tell that, for the duckling was all focused upon the creamy pup. "Do you think you can handle being a mommy right now? With the responsibility?" Her question was kindly put, more interesting in hearing the answers that were to come from her, since kids usually said the darndest things!
- Noir Aston - 06-22-2009
- Asha Amara - 06-22-2009
500+ Ah, to be a puppy again. Those were the good days, Asha could vouch for that indefinitely. To have such a profound curiosity about the world, to not know anything and be on a forever quest to figure out the mechanics of everything, the Amara could say that was one of the qualities that she misses about her younger innocence. That everything and anything is possible in the world to puppies, even the care of a creature out of their species. The imagination, it was endless. Such imagination could indeed run its course through adulthood, but in actuality it could never match the fervent minds of juveniles and youths. Asha tried to obtain her imagination as much as she could; it was crucial in a world like this nowadays, with violence, confusion, corruption. Best to protect the values of the innocent while one still could, and carry it on like a gene. The blonde child was endearing, really. Her red ears flicked, listening as the girl stated how her mother was top of the line with making the best offspring, how pretty she was, and how the girl admired her so. Also, the fact that the puppy's own puppies would be a blast for her to take care of. You didn't typically hear things like that from puppies as young as this one, so this creamy pup struck Asha as peculiar and interesting. At least that was a good thing to hear, that puppies nowadays looked up to their families for guidance, and had some sense of compassion for others in them. It seemed to be a running trend within the tribe lands, and Asha was only happy to know of this. Speaking about her mother, it slightly made Asha remind herself of her own deceased mother. That thought simply couldn't stay in her mind for long, due to the fact that her sadness and sorrow for her mother was already spent, and there was no use mulling about the past and what was done. Mischka, she would run through the spirit of Asha and Aiyanna, and as long as her spirit was around, that was what counted. Tilting her head to the side as the blonde girl previously spoke of her mother, it was the perfect moment to inquire who her mother was, and Asha figured she might just have a good notion as to who it was. "Your mommy is the best mommy, huh? I can say the same for my own, although she's not here anymore. Do you mind if I ask what your mommy's name is?" Asha would receive her mother's name before the name of the pup before her, but Asha didn't want to rush introductions; everything would come out on its own whim. At her statement that she wasn't a duck, Asha couldn't help but laugh along with her giggle. This girl, she was a smart one, especially what she was to say next about not having enough milk for the duckling to provide it a meal. "You're right about that. You don't have feathers, or a beak! But! Sometimes you don't have to look like something else in order to give it affection, love, and care." Asha pointed out, adverting her gaze to the duckling, which was making little quacking sounds every now and then. "I don't believe ducks drink milk. They like what other birds like, namely bugs. The creepy crawlies! You know, spiders, crickets, worms..." The Amara trailed off, assuming that the pup knew well enough about insects and the like.
- Noir Aston - 06-29-2009
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y199/l ... banner.jpg); background-position: bottom center; background-repeat: no-repeat;"> (500) Well, truth be told Noir only had one mother, so it could not really be fair to say with such determination that her mommy was the best mommy in the whole world. The thing with Noir was that she actually could say such things and be one hundred percent certain that what she believed in actually was the ultimate truth. The child’s face always glowed with warmth whenever she spoke of her family, especially Tayui. Noir had never lacked a father, not with her mother’s loving nature and devotion. Perhaps Dawali had taken the place where the biological father should be, and now the girl also had Uncle Ho. The unique bond between uncle and niece was highly peculiar, but it was also very beautiful how the two relatives had founded a blooming friendship despite the ugly start. Noir’s family had to be the best family in the whole world. She was just so unbelievably happy with everything.
The woman with the pretty face asked and Noir was more than pleased to be of assistance.
Although the blonde child already knew that there was no milk for babies inside of her, it still disappointed her slightly to hear the older female agree and confirm that no, she did not have any. A tiny miraculous possibility had been shut out. She wished it was not so. Thankfully the disappointment was quickly drowned in the relief that the baby duckling did not drink milk. Also, it seemed that it actually was possible for the baby to like Noir despite the fact that they were two entirely different species. The blonde child looked down on the black eyed baby. She could feel her cheeks blush slightly as she felt warmth and love caress her own heart. She wanted to be its mommy. She wanted it so much.

Apologies for the delay, I'm getting back into the swing of things again. O_x 500+
The red-wolf absolutely wished she had the opportunity to have her own mother, Mischka, around again. She missed her mother so, although Asha could certainly say that the heartache that Dawali felt for his deceased mate was certainly greater than her own pain. Still, Asha missed her just as intensely. Mischka was in existance to Asha for only a short time, most of which Asha couldn't really seem to remember much of her except precious, cherished moments spent. Apparently, Asha was something of an almost reincarnation of her mother. Her personality was sociable, strong willed, and defiant. Dawali stated many times before that Asha (and also in a sense, Aiyanna as well) were the only two things in this world that lingered about Mischka. The very thought of Mischka made tears want to prick at the back of her eyes, but knowing of the wishes and the temperament that her mother held, Mischka wouldn't want them to shed tears about her. She would have wanted them to celebrate the life that she lived, and the prosperity of their family lineage to come from her influence. As the blonde child went into the throes of explaining who her mother was and her own name, Asha couldn't help but chortle a gentle laugh. So Noir was her name, and Tayui Aston was her mother. Asha instantly recognized the name of Tayui, seeing as how Tayui was one of the first founding members of AniWaya in these lands, and Asha had been included in that group as well. Furthermore, with Noir asking if her name and her mother's names were pretty for their like, Asha complied with a smile and head nod. "Yes, your names are very pretty indeed. Noir, it sort of sounds like it has a taste of French to me. Anyways, I actually know something about your mother, Tayui! She was one of the first wolves in the pioneering group to come settle in these lands with the tribe. I honestly didn't have the honor to talk to her back then, but I sure do know who your mother is now." Asha said, hoping now to possibly find some common interest within the girl. "I also have a sister and a father. Do you know who my father is? He looks a lot like myself..." Asha decided to quiz Noir, seeing if the blonde girl happened to know of her direct relation to no other than the Bone Bearer of AniWaya. Transitioning their focus back upon the duckling again, Asha smiled warmly at Noir's fondless of the duckling. Perhaps the two could develope some sort of lasting relationship with one another, seeing as how it was possible to form a close bond with another species of nature. With her eyebrows raising now as Noir delcared that they had to find a food source for the duckling, Asha nodded at such a request, and her amber eyes momentarily strayed about the scenery around them for these such sources of food. "Well. I'm assuming that maybe the duckling would like a worm or two, maybe even little fish." Asha wasn't entirely certain just what ducklings ate, but seemingly if the duckling was that hungry, it might as well just eat whatever was presented to it. "Lets see if we can find some ground insects. Worms, maybe even little fish somewhere, yes? Would you like to help?" Asha offered to Noir, and of course the pup would comply. - Noir Aston - 07-25-2009
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y199/l ... banner.jpg); background-position: bottom center; background-repeat: no-repeat;"> (500) Maybe end this soon? Asha guessed that her name sounded French, and this was very very correct. It actually was French. The little child felt very smart for knowing this, because she had never been in France, where they supposedly spoke that language, at least according to her mother. The girl’s ears flickered in absolute interest when the stranger Asha woman said that she knew something about Noir’s mommy. When that information had been retrieved, Noir wondered if she had known this from before or not. Tayui told her children many things, but they were not always good listeners. Noir was a dreamer dancing after colours, and lost quite a lot of what people told her if it was not of interest. Now when this was knowledge that bound the woman together with Tayui, Noir felt more open for the other female, although she had not held back her nature by not knowing the woman either. ”So you know my mommy from before I was here!” the girl said loudly, finding it odd that there had actually been a world before she had been born. It was not fair, because then Asha had known Noir’s mother even longer than Noir had.
Those thoughts were scuffled away instantly when Noir was asked if she could guess who Asha’s daddy could be. The child’s golden eyes started investigating the woman closely, but her head was rather empty. Asha was an adult, and therefore her daddy had to be very old! Noir was not good with age and the calculation that could be done to reveal that the man that was the pink marked woman’s father did not have to be old at all. Noir just knew that her mommy looked a bit older than some other members. Although the resemblance to Dawali was plain to see, Noir was unable to see the connection. Dawali did not look old in any way, so it was taken for granted that he could not have a daughter. He did not have a mommy to be a daddy with either, so she did not consider him at all. "I don’t know.” the girl quickly announced, losing interest all too soon as well because she wanted to look and talk to and about the gray baby duck that thought that Noir was a duck mommy.
The girl started instantly digging for worms. ”You can find fish and I can find worms? I can’t catch fish with my bum because it is small, not like Uncle Ho’s large bum that he catches fishes with!” She had tried to fish, but had never managed to do so. It was sad, because she liked the taste that her ivory uncle had introduced to her. Her golden eyes fell upon the duckling ever so often, amazed that it simply stood there and stared and occasionally picked at the dark earth. Poor baby, it had to be so so super hungry. Noir very well knew how it was to be super hungry (no, not really, but she imagined so), so it was very important that they found food at once so that the duck would not die, because that would be sad and suggest that Noir was a bad mother that made her children die. |
