thanks for starting lovey
His leg was healing, stitched tight by threads of flesh and clots of blood. Minos didn’t understand why his alpha had rain down much ferocity on his poor helpless follower, even after his leader had given him an explanation. There was change running through his veins, seeping into muscles and drawing power from a place Minos did not know existed. It all went unnoticed; the white beast could not feel the virus that had been leached into his system from the mouth of his alpha. The chocolate male had simply put him in his place, in the mind of the omega. In his place he would remain, yet he found that only the ruler of these lands had acknowledged his presence. Other then the idle eyed pup that only confused him more, Minos had been the invisible creature that he always wished to be.
Walking slowly, the hurt of his leg and the strain the fight he and the king waged against the coyotes keeping his pace tender and curt. Minos roamed the lands of this new home; nose to the ground and as always in search of something to fill his stomach. He missed the days when wolves gathered each day and hunted together over and over. It was when ever the alpha found it time, they would gather legs beneath bodies and move with the will of pleasing the one that chose to hunt. This, the disconnect and the dispersion of members, did not register with what was left of Minos’ feral blood.
It kept him safe though, and he could rest without the thought that another member would choose to show he was only the lowest in their order and nothing more. Here he could go entire days traveling the pack land without seeing another creature, and even though he was not having to subdue the angry tyrants of members the white wolf found he was growing some what lonely. Looking forth into the distance the black nose caught the scent of a female. Gingerly the male crept close, until her scent was all around. Eyes darted in search of her form, and when he did he lowered his head. Ears turned to the side, falling and making unease obvious.
There was something else, small and moving at her paws. Ears darted forward, and his eyes opened wide at the sight of the small pup. Looking again at the female, Minos lowered head and ears once more. It was obvious that the female was the mate of their leader, as was customary. Watching her out of the corner of his eye Minos merely looked on, eager to meet the young of the alpha pair. For all he knew this was the queen that went with their king, and since Minos did not know any better then what was written in his genes he was fairly certain of it. - Tokyo Chance - 01-25-2010 [html]

Minos is weird. ><
It was the way, for the mother to wish to protect her young. Minos understood that much. She moved towards him, and the omega leaned back. Staying planted in the one place would not bring forth the urge to chase him. She would likely catch him, with the injury that was healing along his limb. Minos didn’t want to leave, anyways. He wanted to meet the newest member of the pack. The pup moved forth, and the while adult moved downward into the snow, his tail wagging with excitement.
The mother’s words rang his previous thoughts true. This was the other half to the alpha pair. A small whine came form is mouth, and lack nose moved forward to greet the pup. Tail waved, brushing against the snow he lay in. The King? It was a fitting name, and if he would have guessed such was the name of his father. Minos did not even know the alpha’s call name. Such a thing was unnecessary information for the beast. He understood how to survive without knowing what the sound of his name felt in his ears or on his tongue. He knew his scent and in the end that was enough.
The pup was beautiful, as all were. Minos found he wanted to be closer and crawled towards him, black nose wishing to touch the newborn pelt. It was obvious that this young wolf had not been born as he had, an omega by genetics. Minos had indeed been born to alpha parents, as was the law of nature. But he still held the weakness that made him want to merely survive and show all others that he was simply lower then dirt. |
