- Savina Marino - 01-28-2010 [html] http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/ ... viban2.jpg); background-position: bottom center; background-repeat: no-repeat;"> Yay! No posting order at first, so hop in whenever you can! Set in the common room of Haven Manor 300+ She and Ehno had been wanting to put something like this together for a while but it was only now that the opportunity had presented itself. They all lead busy lives and of course it had to wait until his pups were large enough to make the journey here with him. Savina was excited to get the whole family gathered together, but at the same time it had also presented a sticky situation for her. Up until now she had kept the fact that Ehno had pups and with whom a secret from her daughter, wanting to protect her from that difficult truth that she knew would hurt her. Now that the family gathering was happening though she had had to sit Cambria down and explain things to her. Unsurprising to say, her daughter had not taken the news well. She felt betrayed and hurt, perhaps to an even greater extent than Savina had herself when she had found out. This had happened a couple days ago and the chocolate girl's mood had not much improved. The mother honestly didn't know if she would decide to come or not. Despite the circumstances though the woman was thrilled to finally get to meet her nieces and nephew. Ehno had left to go get them and Savina had gone and spread the news to the rest of the family on where and when to come meet up. The Commander had cleaned the common room and arranged it nicely so they would have plenty of room to sit and mill about. It would be strange to see so many Marinos in one place, considering how small their family had been not all that long ago. A quiet fire gave warmth to the room and Savina moved to go sit near it. People should be arriving shortly and her heart danced with anticipation, her tail thumping every so often against the floorboards. - Ghita Marino - 01-28-2010 [html]
- Aro Marino - 02-10-2010 [html] "You aren't...I am!" A little voice squeaked from behind a bookcase. Out from the shelf jumped a small, black pup, wild and energetic as ever, to greet the two older wolves. He shook off the dust covering his fur, as he had ran here right through all the furniture instead of around them like a normal civilized wolf. However, he was a child, so it could be forgiven. The little black furball then proceeded to rush at the two larger wolves, sniffing at their feet and his eye them with a small deal of scrutiny before accepting them as familiar scented folks, they were indeed his kin. Once recognizing them as familiar, the boy again spoke in his energetic confident voice, showing he had no fear for strangers. "I've been here for about half an hour or so, daddy told me something about meeting the rest of the family around here and I just couldn't wait for them, so I came here myself!" the little bundle of energy then attempted to calm himself, trying to sit and suppress his excitement and actually introduce himself to the family members present. Turning to his mom, he chuckled and said "Don't worry mom, I made sure that this time I didn't tlak to any strangers." He said, attempting to calm her. He didn't want to get into trouble for straying off into the wild the fourth time this week, but he was just such the wanderer that he could not help it. Puffing out his chest and raising himself to his full height, he announced to the wolf he didn't know "My name is Aro Marino, son of Jazper-Rhiannon Knight and Ghita Marino!" He spoke his parent's name with pride, as in his mind, his parents were the most important people in the pack, though that wasn't true. He then wagged his tail as he asked the other two. "So who are you then lady?" He asked quickly, still circling the two other wolves with nothing but excited interest, occasionally snuggling against his mother in energetic love. - Jazper Rhiannon-Knight - 02-17-2010 [html]

omg I still know how to post. Sorry for lateness. And long post is long; just tried to do a quick intro for the pups with their descriptions. Killi, there’s some slight pp here with Rio, though I tried to keep it open-ended after the intros so you can do what you will with her. :] Let me know if you want anything changed. WC: 844 Ehno had been waiting for this moment for months. The man may have come to terms with his decision to essentially live two lives between the two sides of his family, but he never wanted them to be completely separate. It was a foolish flight of fancy to imagine that the mutual distrust between Naniko and his family at Crimson Dreams could ever be mended, but he was not resigned to the fact that his children would be separated from the rest of their family. He wanted them to be able to get to know their aunts, uncles, and cousins, to be able to visit the place their father called home without feeling like total strangers. It would be a slow process, to be sure, but Ehno was finally given the chance to make his family whole once more and he was quick to seize the opportunity. The D’Angelo woman had been rather adamant about the children remaining with her in Phoenix Valley at first, her ill feelings toward Savina leaving no room for argument, much to Ehno’s dismay. Now that the children were older, however, he finally managed to convince her to allow the children to take a trip with him to Crimson Dreams. Naniko still wasn’t entirely pleased with the arrangement, but Ehno was too caught up in the excitement to let her grumbling get the best of him. The Marino man was quick to confer with his siblings in order to organize a little family get-together. He had departed a few days earlier to retrieve the four youngsters from Phoenix Valley. As they journeyed back to the land of Dreamers, he excitedly shared with them stories of their family and of Crimson Dreams. The group of five had taken a rather relaxed pace as they made the lengthy journey between the two pack lands, not wanting to tire out the children during the trip. The sight of Haven Manor greeting them in the horizon called strongly to him, urging him to pick up the pace. However, the male continued the almost leisurely stroll and instead grinned with excitement, tail slowly moving to and fro behind him. As the group passed the quaint white fence surrounding the manor, he heard one of his girls marvel at the size of the building. It was so much bigger than the cabins back home, even the farm house! Ehno climbed the porch steps quickly, moving to hold open the children. The four of them poured into the manor, taking in the strange sights of the place papa called home. He followed them inside, and if that cheerful grin of his could grow any wider, it would. The Dreamer directed them easily into the large common room of the mansion where the sight of a few of their unknown family members greeted them. The little Marinos’ explorative steps slowed slightly when they came into view, but seeing their father slip easily into their company inspired them to follow suit. “Look who’s finally arrived,” he chimed as he moved to sit beside his siblings. “Kids, meet your aunts, Savina and Ghita,” he began, motioning to his sisters beside him, “And your Uncle Jazz and cousin Aro.” Ehno smiled brightly as he concluded his first set of introductions, amber gaze darting between the four who had already gathered. “And I would like to introduce you to Harlowe, Rio, Lucia, and Caprica,” he continued, pointing out each of the children as they were named. Harlowe was his usual pensive and quiet self, sitting beside his father and quietly observing the strangers that were apparently his family. The boy’s lightly sandy fur and the splash of black upon his muzzle contrasted against his father’s more chocolaty pelt, an odd sort of mix of his mother’s and father’s genetics. The first of Ehno’s girls to speak up almost appeared to be a twin of her brother, with her pelt a uniform color just a few shades darker than her quiet sibling. It was Lucia, greeting the group with a loud and boisterous “Hello!” Caprica chimed in with an echo of her sister’s greeting. She was the largest of the litter by some margin, with a coat painted an inky black. She stood beside her remaining sister, Rio, whose pelt contained dark shades similar to her own. Ehno’s heart swelled with fatherly pride. He was incredibly happy that he finally had the opportunity to unite the two parts of his family, especially after being so fearful that this day might never come. He was eager for their informal get together to really begin, once the remaining Dreamer Marinos arrived. “I guess we weren’t the last to arrive, after all,” he commented, wondering where the others could be. He knew their little gathering would already be missing one; Savina had informed him of Cambria’s reaction to the news, and he was unsurprised—though still feeling rather guilty—that she felt betrayed. He would have to seek her out later, though he had a feeling she would be doing her best to avoid him. - Sophia Knight - 03-06-2010 [html]
- Kansas Sadira - 03-28-2010 [html] http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x242 ... ross-1.png); background-color:#350306; background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; text-align:justify;">Your Rio-ing was fine, Jenny! Pretend this was here sooner. 300+ Kansas had nearly forgotten about what was happening today. He was absorbed in a book, Wuthering Heights, a dark story but one he was thoroughly enjoying. The only bad thing about being such a voracious reader was his tendency to lose track of many things, time being one of them, events being the other. Only when went to flip a page with his nose (he was an adept Lupus reader) did he realize that there was noise downstairs, the noise of a gathering. He cursed under his breath and left the book open as he stood, exited his room and headed for the living area. He entered behind a small gathering, one of Marinos and their relatives. This was important to Savina, so he cursed himself for arriving later than most of the happening's attendants. He should have been one of the very first, as Savina's mate. He didn't want to slip into a funk of self-pity. Kansas put a smile on his face, one he knew would become geuine soon enough. He slipped in among his family, flashing awkward smiles at the wolves who comprised it. He was very happy to see his brother-in-law there, as well. Ehno was just introducing his children, and Kansas recognized with a wide-eyed stare the little girl he'd rescued from the river, Rio. She was sitting quietly with her siblings, obviously happy to be in a strange new place. Kansas was glad that she was there, unharmed by any more mishaps. The boy made a beeline for Savina, simply because he didn't want too much time to pass until he could be near her once more. He gave her cheek a tender lick, and it was then that his smile grew real. His pale eyes searched for their children, namely Cambria. She wasn't present as he'd hoped, and he knew this was because of Ehno. The father understood her pain and resentment, but he still wished she had come, simply because the family wasn't complete without her. "Hello, everyone," he offered softly at last, to all of the wolves who had come.
- Savina Marino - 03-30-2010 [html] http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/ ... viban2.jpg); background-position: bottom center; background-repeat: no-repeat;"> Okie, let's get this moving along! People are still free to jump in if they haven't yet, but figured we should move forward 500+ The fire crackled pleasantly behind her and she was anxious to see who would be the first to join her. She didn't have to wait too long for the answer though, as her sister descended the stairs and walked casually into the room and took a seat by her side. A smile had already been on her face, but it instantly grew larger at the sight of Ghita. As she sat down Savina offered a loving nudge with her muzzle, emeralds sparkling up at her littermate. "It would seem s-" she began to answer, but her words were cut off by an excited exclamation. One brow rose in confusion, searching for the owner of the young voice, when a large ball of black and white fluff exploded onto the scene. Savina couldn't contain a happy laugh at her nephew's antics, wondering if his father had been similar as a pup. As her identity was questioned she simply shook her head, lowering her face down to Aro's level. "Why Aro, I'm your aunt Savina, don't you remember? I suppose you were still pretty little when I last saw you..." Pup's memories could be fickle things in development. Sounds of someone entering the manor distracted the Commander and her head rose back up just as Jazper came into the room, all smiles. Her tail wagged contently behind her as she watched the father and son, so happy that the kindly giant had finally gotten the family he had always deserved. Better yet, it was her own family! It was true she had been hard on him when the news of Ghita's unexpected pregnancy had first been revealed, but all that was in the past now and nothing remained but happiness for the couple and their two pups. "Greetings Jazz, I'm glad you could be here." Being the pack's main defense she knew that he was often busy, but it was good he could take the time to come to this gathering. The door opened again, though it was clear this time that it was more than one pair of feet walking inside. The scrabbling of little paws made the woman's heart pause and her breathe held in her chest. Green eyes grew wide in anticipation at getting the first glances at her three little nieces and her other nephew. Ehno easily slipped into the group and then his first hesitant pups followed suit. Savina's tail was now beating at a frenzied pace, taking on a mind of its own. She had worried so that she would never see these beautiful faces and now that she was her heart was filled to bursting. She listened carefully as her brother introduced his children, her smile wide and warm. Once he was done speaking she lowered her head to look at each of them more carefully. "Hello to all of you! I'm so glad to finally get to meet you!" The woman hoped that they didn't have any negative, preconceived notions of her. That would surely break her heart. Her gaze lifted back to her brother. "No, you're just in time." No words were said, but her eyes perfectly conveyed how happy she was for him and how much it thrilled her to see his children. The Italian fey's attention was again diverted as Sophia crashed into the meeting, looking like she had just gone for a mile run. She could definitely see both Jazper and Ghita in their two kids and she knew that the pack would be in for quite the ride as the two got older. There was no doubt in her mind that they would be a feisty pair that would give their parents a run for their money. Finally, her heart skipped as Kansas made his way into the group, coming to sit by her side. A happy whine came from her as he kissed her on the cheek and she returned the gesture forthwith. Looking back out on the wolves assembled there were some missing parties, but seeing so much of the family gathered together made her heart soar. "If only Mamma could see this," she said softly to her siblings. "She would be so happy." Savina felt a little moisture collect at the corners of her eyes at the thought, but pushed it a way. This was a time for celebration, not sorrow. - Ghita Marino - 04-02-2010 [html] Yay! Table change! <33
