But you give me the electric twist

oh man! <3

They rooted each other, reeling the other in from the limb that they hung from. Cambria had done it for Mati more then once, easing her fears and settling the panic that ran through her so quickly and franticly. She had been there when Mati threatened to pass out from the sight of her own bleeding paw, and Cambria had also been the one to calm Mati’s fears after she had been hurt. Cambria had felt the physical pain, and yet she had been the level headed one. It was Mati’s turn, and though she felt as if she stood in place she didn’t recognize she held tight to the need to change the look of shame and fright that was written on the other female’s hidden face. Seeing her like this was far worse then feeling the sharp surprise and the bought of embarrassment. She could forget her discomfort, for it was filtering from her system just as they sat so close, and focus every ounce of her energy on Cambria.

Mati shook her head in answer to her question as she sat on the bed facing her. No, she didn’t at all. For the moment she didn’t wonder what had really been going on, her eyes locked on the beautiful female’s face and let the normal beat of her heart increase and the regular jitters and excitement of being next to her place a small smile across her maw. What had made her run before no longer lived within the Earthen fey, it had been a fear that pushed her and Mati had grown far beyond that, gently drawing them closer each time they spoke. I want you to stay. She reassured, her hand lightly stroking the soft fur of her arm. See, she thought, everything would be okay.

She spoke, and they were sorrow-laden words that made look on with a quiet sympathy. The explanation was needed, for Mati understood so little of what had just happened. Now that the other woman was less frantic and she spoke further on what had happened the Church fey was able to gather the small facts and realize what exactly had been going on beyond the obvious. She remained silent, allowing Cambria to speak without interruption (not that she would know what to say). The last frail statement made Mati drop her gaze slowly, taking in the thought. It was hard to wrap her mind around, and in was almost impossible for Mati to decode the feelings that ran through her. Was that what she had felt when they lay in bed? Had she been loosing herself in the thought of them together? It made sense, for Mati didn’t know what direction was up when they got close. Lost, that was how she felt and she had misplaced the will to care some time ago. She liked it, and even found herself smiling softly at the idea that she could make someone feel like that too. The fact that it was Cambria made her fingers hold the female’s arm more tightly once again.

It couldn’t be ignored any longer, to think of exactly what had been happening when she had walked through the door. Mati had placed it aside, pushing the thought away for being faced with it so suddenly had made her blush and had sent Cambria into the throws of a minor panic. Mati felt it, as the picture rolled through her thoughts and allowed herself to just submit to the power of it. But, I’ve never She began, now the one searching for understanding, felt this way. her smile was lost, concerned now that Cambria would turn away from her for her lack of experience and understanding.

She didn’t know of Cambria’s prior encounters, and Mati had never even felt that need that had been too powerful for Cambi to ignore. I’ve never needed anyone, she confessed as she pulled the wolfess towards her, innocently enough in the hopes of feeling her close. not in the way, in the way I want you. She stumbled over the words, fighting to find what would be right and then just saying what came to her thoughts. It was a need and a want so powerful that it clouded her mind and made the words unobtainable and actions a mystery. She wanted her, like she had the day Cambria had been recovering and bruised. Mati felt her own hurt, a dull ache that made it almost impossible to not close that gap that had lingered as they lay together then. And now she relished in the ability to do so. I don’t know how to explain it. repeating the words Cambria had spoken in a soft tone. Her violet gaze searched for the duel seas, wanting to fall into them and drown as she had in the past. She didn’t want to push this behind them, to simply make it okay so that they did not fall apart. She wanted to embrace it.
