Caprica yelped at the impact of his body. She was stunned and immediately driven to the ground. Despite her larger size, she was still young enough and inexperienced enough to be taken by surprise by the coyote male. She shook her head wildly from side to side as she tried to see him and figure out why he had thrown himself on top of her. "What the HELL, Alex?" she wheezed loudly as she tried to buck him off of her.
As her struggles became more and more punctuated, his intent became clearer to her. She realized that he was trying to pin her to the ground. Her dark green eyes were wide with shock and she twisted her body beneath him in a frantic effort to loosen his hold. But he had hold of her legs and she was pinned to the ground, unable to gain any leverage to use. The Genus had no idea what this was all about, or what he wanted. This made no sense at all! How could he move so quickly? Wasn't he hurt!?
