As always he was beside Ruri. The occasion was certainly one to celebrate, the anniversary of the pack’s formation was of course something he was excited about. He didn’t know where he would be without it, and thus grateful for it. But, such situations were not his style, when the word came that the gather would be something formal (and semi-formal was still formal in his mind) Heath almost cringed at the thought. But Ruri was instantly excited, and Heath could not help but catch a small amount of her contagious energy. She hadn’t allowed him to see her dress until tonight, and as he watched her exit their bedroom and his jaw fell slack he knew that he was the luckiest male alive. It made the effort to find the tie and to comb back his usually tattered and mangy mane worth it.

But she was stunning, and as they walked into the hotel together he had never been so proud of her. She would sing as well, showing just another talent that she possessed. Heath wore the jeans that he always did, though they were his best pair and less tattered and stained. The blue tie had been found in the city also, and hung loose around his neck over a bare chest. He had never been one for garb and fashion and his lack of knowledge was adamant in such situations. For the night he would stay by her side, until the time came to escort her up to the stage for her solo. But the male was fairly uncomfortable as he stood looking around at the pack mates that looked quite unlike themselves but all for the better. He fidgeted with the knot of his tie, Ruri’s hand on his arm and peered out into the small group that slowly grew. All he gave was a small nod to those he recognized even with the costumes they all wore.
