She was more than happy to show him to wherever he wanted to go. Maybe he would want to see where he could live...or the village, or the ceremonial fire, which was always burning. There were many interesting things for him to see. She supposed that for now, though, she ought to show him somewhere that he could sleep. "You're welcome."

Ember walked back to Bayard and the horse nudged her with his nose. She hoisted herself up onto his back, motioned for Rowan to follow her, then began to walk toward the village. "Fer now you could stay in one of the houses in the village. Or there's always the option of finding or making a den. I like to keep myself apart from the others, like my peace and quiet. I have a son, and he gives me enough to worry about"
