It had been a warm day and the Commander had traveled down to the beach to have some fun in the water. Rabbit Lake was always nice for a swim, and closer to the manor, but nothing could compare to the feel of seawater against her skin or the scent of the salty air. It reminded her of where she came from, of Italy. Crimson Dreams was her home now and she had no desire to leave its borders, but someday she wanted to go back. To show Kansas, and her children the place that she had grown up. To show them the beauty of the country and the magnificence of Rome.
The sun was setting and painting the world in bright warm hues. The dark fey exited the surf and shook herself off, her face split in a panting smile. Time to head back home and care for her pups. Long legs carried her swiftly north and the path was automatic, not even needing to consciously think of where her feet took her. An unfamiliar scent shocked her out of her course though and the woman changed direction to investigate. The other wolf was close and her emerald eyes soon took in the russet form at the borders. Savina's posture changed to display her rank, but there was nothing threatening in her demeanor. "You have come across the lands of Crimson Dreams. Is there something I can help you with?"
