He was a stranger, a male coming forth on a ship and landing ashore on her pack lands and looking a bit peculiar. He was older, but not so that she would allow all her defenses to be lowered entirely. The fey watched as he made his way down the ramp and off the ship. Her smile changed, cocking to the side as she listened to the old wolf speak. Walking with the cane made her want to believe him even more, it was easy to for she could tell immediately that he was genuine. My name is Anu, I am the second in command here in Crimson Dreams. Was her response. His thoughts of her primitive nature did not reflect in how he looked to her. The female wore nothing, carried the same and looked and smelled as natural as the forest that lined the beach’s edge. Though his way was not alien to her, Anu did not see it daily and could not help but look more then once at his dress.
Anu gave a nod, fighting back the notion that there was protocol to adhere to and questions that need to be asked. Those stories were for another day, just as the male had told her so. His grizzled muzzle was hard to detect with his pale fur and coli markings that were dappled over his face, but as she drew close Anu could not help but smile a bit wider while she looked him over. We’ll stay anchored? Anu questioned him jokingly, making her way to the plank and step on it gingerly at first and then solidly once she felt comfortable. She would like some tea, though she had never had any. Once they faced once another she wondered aloud, Where do you hail from Marcus? Even those that wandered as much as he did had been born somewhere…
