Asleep in the City [P]

Ah oke, thanks Smile

The sleeping female in front of her stirred. One eyelid slowly opening, then the other, as if she was waking up, reluctantly, slowly exiting dreamland and focusing on her presence. Mew cocked her head sideways, curious, especially at the other's reaction to her approach. During her travels and nomad life since she left her birthlands she had encountered a lot of different kinds of reactions to any such situation. More than often, the other would react aggressively, and for all Mew knew she was trespassing. Often, despite a humble, submissive or even very friendly stance, she would be cast into a fight or driven away. They were a different mind than those of Bleeding Souls, however, mostly very small packs spread over larger areas, and thus overly defensive of their territories. When the female left Clouded Tears she knew that the areas around had housed not only wolves, but many kinds of different inhabitants, and living close by each other. Maybe it caused them to be more tolerant, she didn't know. Mew had never been very voluble though, and her choice of words had probably caused many of the more aggressive reactions toward her during her travels, and encounters like these. This time, though, despite her clumsy greeting, there didn't seem to be much chance of the other leaping at her, attacking. Neither did she seem defensive, maybe this area didn't belong to anyone?

The other slowly got to her feet, Mews emerald eyes watching calmly, keeping still, and remaining her non aggressive body stance. Once at eye level, she noticed how the other's appearance seemed much alike her grandmother's, but she threw the thought away. Loads of wolves looked alike, without there being any relation between them, hell, she had even bumped into a young male once she could have sworn was her brother, but the age was blatantly wrong, and so was his behavior. Haku had never been.. well, friendly and accepting like that. The female wrecked her brain for a reply to the question; Mew didn't like to share personal information with strangers, but how to explain this without lying, and not telling everything, at once? She was in no hurry to meet her relatives, and if her presence was known among them, she might risk getting bumped into; a situation she would like to put off for as long as possible. She didn't quite know exactly why she dreaded meeting any of them so much, maybe she just didn't want confrontation. Old issues still lingered in her head, unresolved, and maybe better that way. Fixing things was sometimes the worse alternative.

"My name is Mew, I used to live in what was named Clouded Tears, quite a long time ago. I followed you guys' scents here, hoping to settle down somewhere. But most of the lands around here don't seem to be claimed by anyone in particular..?"

The tone of her voice clearly urged the other to fill in the missing patches of information Mew had about this new place. Frankly, the female didn't really know anything. Were there packs? Were any of the territories claimed or open for all? Naturally there would be some amount of confusion after everything was destroyed, and Mew felt that confusion as well, but being an outsider to the community in total, no contacts, she knew nothing. The goal was enlightenment, and maybe this Cer could bring her that.
