This wolf was quite definitely of the inquisitive breed! Amos let out friendly, hearty laughter at Kesho's question. The question had sparked memories of the past, memories of adventures, trials, and everything else in between. It had been quite the travel, across land and rivers, through and over all sorts of decaying man made expedentures.
Amos loved to tell stories. While he knew this was no time for some grand novel to be dialogged, the graying coyote knew it to be a good opportunity to divulge in a good old story. Clearing his throat, Amos said, "Ah, well, ah was born 'n' raysed down in tha deep south." Letting out a heavily sigh, recalled, "Ah was nuthin' but ah caffee boylah," (coffee boiler) "didn't care a continental fo' nuthin'."
Closing his eyes, the old wolf recalled those days. He had been quite the vagabond, roaming from town to town, drinking and smoking and partying. Then, ah, what a grand thing she'd been to find. "Ah found mah futcha mate inna swell wingding town. Had ahselves a son, lawd bless. 'e came 'ere, and, well, when mah dahling passed, ah did too."
When his darling had passed away, his southern homeland had became tainted, anyways. There had been no point in staying in a land that reminded him of his sweet gal that no longer was.
