Dawali's words sounded like he was trying to convince her to come up with more. Thinking back on her words a bit, she knew that she did have a very negative outlook on herself. What was she good at? she had never much of anything to do to improve any of her skills. Still very young, Korva had her parents do almost everything for her because she had no talent in any of the skills that wolves normally had as well as she was always around trying to take care of her brother. Looking at the odd yellowish-green of the grass beneath her bloodied feet, the she-wolf thought long and hard about what she could actually do to contribute to anything.

All of a sudden, it hit her. “I suppose I'm good at taking care of people,” she mused aloud, thinking of the times where her sickly sibling had woken up in the middle of the night coughing furiously or whimpering in discomfort, and how she had tried her best to comfort him, to make sure he could get back to sleep. She didn't know if being kind and comforting to other wolves was entirely a skill, but it was something. Like Dawali said - everyone's good at something. Perhaps the tribe was more welcoming than she thought. After all, it was fall, and more loners would be looking for a home. It was probably expected, if not being prepared for. Korva just hoped she would be able to carry her own load in the tribe rather than being a deadweight. Looking at the Chief's healthy paws in comparison to her own, it dawned upon her that it would probably be a while before she could do anything of any sort of big help to the tribe.
