There was much going on in her mind, but the alcohol was helping to calm her down a bit. Ember didn't often partake in the stank liquid, but tonight was a special night. She had made a major decision; she and Moonfyre would be staying together. As friends, or as more, she didn't know yet. That would be found out in time. She needed someone to be there for her, and perhaps he was that someone.
He put his head on her chest and she moved to put one arm around him. Her fingers brushed over his fur lightly, running down the part of him that her hands could reach, his neck, shoulder, and arm. It was comforting, and she found herself lost in the motions as she drifted off into dreamland.
