Shawchert had taken refuge up a tree, the fog was thick and he was blind to most of what was around him. This he didn’t mind, the rain that sprinkled down along him, not to mention the moistness of the fog was also meaningless to him. He was sitting in the tree daydreaming, of the pale wolf from Dahlia that he’d met, she was a distant being, but he liked her. He liked her very much, though he had only one meeting with her as of yet, he wanted to see her again and talk to her more. He sighed so softly that the fog ate it up.
Not the sight of movement brought him from his stupor but the sound of it. He heard leaves rustling first then he heard the sound of a puppy call out with glee, then something small jump inside the leaves. Shawchert looked down, the fog, though thick didn’t cover the ground, so he saw the small shape as he started playing in the leaves. He watched with interest, not making a sound then he moved quietly and jumped down from the tree. Of course this would probably frighten the poor pup out of his wits, but he didn’t know what else to do.

He said cautiously, just in case he really did scare the puppy, he remained knelt as he knew his size was quite intimidating and he was curious about the pup. He smelled quite familiar yet had his own little scent mixed in.
