It was a stirring that she felt, a slight change in the patter of breaths that helped her fall into a world of dreams each night. It woke her slowly and softly, just as it allowed her to slip into sleep. She did not open her eyes, for the need to rest was still pulling at her mind and eyes lids were still too heavy. Every morning was the same, and yet at the same moment they seemed new and different. There was a routine that they had come to, but it was more like an appreciated habit then the bore of the familiar mundane. Mati inhaled deeply, her back nose was rested among the long silk strands of chocolate, and took in the scent she sought each morning. Even if she woke to an empty bed, the fey would roll to the side on which her mate would lay just to feel the heart warming feeling that such a simple thing brought. Her legs moved lazily, stretching slightly and brushing against those of the other woman. Foot-paws moved to cover the smaller ones of her mate and Mati finally opened her eyes.
Blinking away sleep she turned slightly, moving closer into the loose embrace that she was held in. "Good morning..." She said with a tired voice. Mati was not one to wake easily and quickly. Her purple eyes looked at the face of the beautiful Marino and she smiled as she closed her eyes once more. Beneath the blankets she let her hand move up the other's leg lightly and to her stomach and pulled her closer.
