"'Kay!" He obeyed eagerly, leaving the side of Nayru and walking off deeper into the forest so he would not be heard when he snuck up on his meal. He soon came around to the other side of the clearing, the back of his prey facing him. His eyes no longer wandering up to look for guidance; he was now relying on his pure hunting instincts. Crouching low, he switched ambushing position; bulky paws falling down one after the other soundlessly. His posture was some what like a lions, rump up and head down. He didn't think that many animals other then those that were cat-like stalked their prey, but since it was one of his first hunts; he believed mother nature would make an exception.

He let out a puppy growl, Mr.Cottontail's grey ears perking up. He was almost sure that the rabbit had heard him approaching before, but didn't bother to move. Unlike Range, his care-taker was seen as a threat. She blended in with the forest okay, the shadows helping hide the white that spotted her body. Her red orbs were about the only thing that stuck out, awaiting the cue of large thumping feet. He was careful not to let his eyes begin to divagate, focusing on his sole responsibility to make the dusty coated bunny move into the death trap.

The rabbit looked at the uneven cub with dazed eyes, as if he could not believe that the wolf was attempting to catch him again. Even if Range did not show it much, he was a threat. After an awkward moment of listening to more pup-ish growls, the hare began moving forward. Within a few heavy thuds, the whelp became impatient. Letting out a soft yip that caused the ashy animal to jolt forward.
