If I wanted silence; I'd whisper.

Range gave his authorization over the plan set off to do his own part. Nayru smiled as how easily he had agreed to it and how quickly he set about enacting it. Although still young he had goals, and currently the death of the poor rabbit was one of them. Range would be successful in whatever he set him mind to, Nayru thought, and it was evident that his mind was set to the hunt just then. The girl breathed in deeply and shifted her weight just slightly, putting her own mind fully into the hunt. Images of blood danced before her--the rabbit would probably scream just as it had on her first kill, but better that Range knew that now. Animals cried out sometimes at the final moments, it was just a fact of life, one she had come to accept. One all predators came to accept eventually.

Ears could hear the boy’s movements, he was not quite so skilled as she just yet in silence but it would come in time. And right then it didn’t quite matter, because just as they had envisioned the boy was about to spook the rabbit right at her. It happened in a blur, as many hunts did, the rabbit trying to shoot past her once he realized his own folly in forgetting the larger of the two wolves. On two legs hunting could be harder, but her arm shot out and caught the creature but the neck, the soft bone snapping under her grip. No blood shed yet, but the rabbit was merely paralyzed, not dead. Range would have to do that, and quickly. "Range, get him. The throat!" Her voice, normally so soft and gentle, rose commandingly, a stranger speaking in Nayru’s body, the tone crying out despartely for blood.
