With Fall’s passing they came to Mati’s least favorite season. Though she was more then able to find the colors in the snow that had fallen, and in the darkness that settled over the land in the sun’s early setting and the long nights. It was the not enough to counter act the cold that made her shiver, the wind and the ice that made her eyes water and her nose chap. She wished for Spring, for the blossoms and the new grass to tickle her toes. And the warmth.
The female searched for Spring beneath the blankets that shielded them against the cold air of the room around them. Mati let her nose fall into the mane at the shoulders of her mate, the scent of her making her heart melt gently into a pool of fresh April rain. It triggered the memories of the eve before, and then of moments passed. Softly and gently her fingers weaved themselves into the fur the lay perfectly on her flesh, her ears taking in to the heavy words.
She could feel her reaction, then a lighter more awoken tone sharing a light laugh. Mati moved her hand up, running them lightly over her ribs and letting her lips curve into a small knowing smirk.
