She was immediately wary, of course, when the world came to knock her out of her dreamy state. Her ears caught the sound of singing, which confused her, but she tried to show no outward sign of it. Naniko wanted to be sure of what she was hearing and smelling before she chose to open her eyes, still a bit unsure whether what she was smelling and hearing was something from her dreams. She sniffed very slowly and quietly, taking in a foreign scent.


Whoever had come upon her hadn't attacked her, and that was an important thing to think about. These thoughts flashed through the Angela's head as she lay there, trying to come up with what she ought to do. She opened her eyes first, stretching her legs out in front of her, yawning loudly and standing. She pretended to notice the oddly colored female for the first time, eyes widening.


She was a sensible wolf, and to her it felt useless to be defensive in this situation. The other wolf could have hurt her before while she was sleeping but she hadn't. Instead she simply stared at her, taking in the sight of the wolf whose quiet voice had lured her from her sleep. She fought the urge to bare her teeth or growl, trying to keep her cool. "Singing?" Her gravelly voice came, suspicious.
