Where the stranger felt the need to disregard the mare's reaction, Heath took it in like a plant soaking in the first rain after a drought. She was so uneasy, and Heath could only place a comforting hand on her shoulder in the hopes of easing her discomfort. The two creatures were so in tuned that her emotions became his own and he was growing agitated beyond what he had once been when first meeting the loner. Heath had heard the stories, he had heard her past and though the details did not align themselves at this moment to make him understand all that was coming to be with the entrance of this stranger Heath still knew it wasn't good. His tone when speaking of mixed blood also pushed Heath towards aggression.
