The coywolf watched with curiosity as the lithe female acknowledged his presence. She had the same look most did when they watched the traveler approaching, clad in ornaments and tools for the trade. He leaned on his staff, observing the far off look she gave him. Trails of smoke billowed from her fingers which held the joint, and his bright eyes lingered there for a moment. He was all too familiar with that hazy look in her eyes, and a smile accented his features again.

It seemed to take the coyote a moment to respond to Bangle's first question, and he couldn't help but offer a small chuckle in return. She did not look like one who would chase him off, though the coywolf had learned over the years how to be extremely friendly, even to strangers, to let him tread on their lands. He reached over for the joint she offered then, bangles jingling their chorus as he did so, and he took a moderate drag. It was strong, but it had a familiar taste on his tongue.. smoking was something he hadn't done in a handful of moons, and he closed his eyes to savor it, tossing his head to the side as the smoke slowly billowed in a long stream from his lips.

When he opened his eyes, however, he was surprised to see the coyote approaching him, with no real regards for personal boundaries. Bangle was much the same way, though he flinched slightly when she touched the various nick knacks on his chest and things that dangled from his waist. Why should he be surprised? Others were fascinated by the things he carried, too, or repulsed. It was one or the other, really. He watched as her eyes roved all over his body, as if it was an adventure trying to see what else Bangle possessed. But she was impressed, as seen in her eyes and in her voice, and he grinned. Bangle was never more happy than when someone was intrigued by his treasures.

Bangle turned his head behind him, eyes following hers to the mask that draped over everything else. "Certainly! You liiiike?" He said, turning his attention back to her as he leaned forward, closer to her face, charm lighting his own visage. Bangle pulled back some as he took another minor drag from the joint, loving the way it tingled his lips and left that icky sticky taste in his mouth and in his brain. Before he exhaled, he watched as the coyote female introduced herself, and he happily rose his own hand to meet her own, clasping and shaking it briefly.

"Bangle "Slickmaw" Guffawri," the male said gruffly, trying to match her own three parts of a name. Turning his head the other way, he formed his lips into an 'o' and exhaled. "A pleasure," he said, eyes focusing on the joint for a moment before staring into hay colored eyes. He slowly handed the joint back to her, grinning in a friendly manner. "Might I ask ya what beautiful lands I've come across, miss Sage?" His voice was casual, and a bit flighty, having asked the same question to wolves several times before.
