The blood would still have stained the skin between her paws, but she would do whatever it took to keep the light on her and not on her sister or any other of her sister pack members. She would have figured the male was still fairly young, young but spoke the truth on matters that mattered the most to him.

That’s it.” She rolled her head back as she laughed as her head back to the side she snapped it down, narrowing her eyes upon him. ”Maybe if you wouldn’t spend your time with them you would not smell like them. You know your pack makes you who you are.” She wanted him mad at her; she needed him mad at her. She wanted his mind off the crime that was committed not too far away from here.
