“Well tha’ ain’t very nice,” he said, though he couldn’t say that he was exactly a pacifist. But it wasn’t nice, whether or not he seemed to agree. He was small though, and he couldn’t afford senseless confrontation where he might lose, so this played a part in his actions. He could understand wanting to protect one’s borders. He shrugged as though she’d said something in response before even giving her the chance to retort, seemingly shoving aside the obvious. Trespassers weren’t nice either. “Yeah, why no’,” he answered, scratching idly at some spot on his scalp beneath the ragged, dreaded hair with his claws. “Ith lonely as s’it out here by myself.” He didn’t much like being alone for too long. |
