It is fine, I figured as much *licks back* Your baby as promised; 508 words

The girl was exhausted and her mixed heritage put her on the petite side. Not that she knew herself to be mixed. She simply thought that she was the same as the rest of her family. Okay, well maybe her eye color was a bit different. Hers didn't happen to be quite as blue as the other females in her family, it was more of a green than a blue. But it was still close enough, right? Teal still had that hint of blue to it. It wasn't like the differences made themselves out to be too obvious. For all she knew her father was a red wolf just as all the others in her family. The similarities were there so that she didn't question it. And it wasn't like anyone told her any different simply because species didn't matter among the Great Tribe.

For a moment she wondered if her call would be heeded. Maybe her uncle was out on a vision quest? It certainly wasn't entirely unheard of. Or even out purifying himself. Rituals and customs had to be followed. She really didn't want to disturb and interrupt those but she didn't know who else to turn to. She had no idea who else to call to. Who else could possibly help her. But right now she was willing to take anyone that would come along. She had started to regret leaving Meda all by herself. But if she hadn't left then who would have ever known that they were out there and needed the help?

The young girl allowed her eyes to slip closed for a moment and in that span of time the whole earth shifted away from beneath her and she was floating. Then sensation only felt to last for a short amount of time before sudden warmth surrounded her. At this she forced her eyes open instead of giving into the thralls of comfort and sleep. When she opened her eyes she stared up into a face that was familiar and yet unfamiliar all at the same time. "Tsugi!" It just had to be! "Edusti Tsugi!" The words were cried out happily. The man that he had come to find was right here. He was holding her. For a moment she had forgotten what had stressed her out.

That was at least until his questions had served to remind her. "Sakari Yakone." She gave her name then after a pause she decided to add on her last name as well, though it should be a given by this point. "Amara." After all who else would call him uncle except for family? "No, Meda. She needs help. We went to sleep but she never woke up. I tried to wake her and she wouldn't wake up. You have to help her." At this she finally had started to squirm to try and remove herself from the other's embrace. She had to show him where to go. She couldn't just leave Meda all alone. Not when Meda had come all this way with her.
