Savina didn't know why it had taken her this long to go and have a heart to heart with her recently returned daughter. The bear incident certainly hadn't helped things, but the woman was feeling guilty for not making more of an effort. This was one of her first born children, her lovely little Amata, the daughter she had bestowed the name of her own mother on. There really was no excuse for it having taken this long to truly recconect and she would be sure to apologize to her girl for the delay. It was the very least she could do. The Consul's tail wagged as she heard Amata's voice come from behind the door, the words in the language of the Marino heritage. It made Savina happy to hear that her children still knew the language. It was one she could never forget, but she knew it was different for her offspring. English was the language of these lands, and they only had the opportunity to speak the other tongue with one another, and Amata had been away a long time.
The ebony woman nosed the door of her daughter's room open and entered with a smile on her face. Amata stood in the room, and even though she had seen her since her return, she was struck by what a lovely young woman the Sadira girl had grown up into. She wished that she could hug her, but she wasn't supposed to be shifting quite yet; her arm still had some healing to do first. "Sono spiacente che mi abbia portato desidera così per venirla vede a caro prezzo, non ho buono scusa." She walked further into the room, coming close to her daughter, looking up at her brightly. "Ora che ho preso le mie vecchie ossa insieme tuttavia, voglio sentire tutto di ciò che lei è stato all'altezza di tutto questo tempo." Her tail waved in an enthusiastic manner. No doubt Amata had seen and done many interesting things in her time away from the Dreaming lands, and her mother was eager to learn all about it.
