It had taken some time to get their home ready. Giuseppe and her had cleaned out the house they chose for themselves and Beppe, too, and the other two wolves were settling in quite nicely. It was their first day, maybe the second, she had forgotten about time since her lover was back home. With a deep sigh, she casually made her way across their new home, their territory they were going to share amongst their family. Her jaw tightened as the pain in her leg did not ease, having through walking it out would help. The walk from the pack that helped her to the concrete jungle of a land that was long gone had done some damage and she didn't know how long it would take to heal. With a sigh, she turned her head as a scent entered her nose.
Her weight turned and her heal dug into the sand as she saw a small figure about to give up on herself. Maria gasped in horrow as she moved forward, her pace quickened to get to the child. "Allo?" she called out and came to stand on her knees to reach out toward the child. "You okay?" she asked, her Italian accent thick as ever.
