WC:350 Although it worried him that the boys thought he was incapable of beating the bear for them it amused the warrior that the two little ones thought so big for such tiny guys. Of course they weren't tiny compared to their sister or other pups but in his eyes they were his little guys and always would be, just like Aro and Sophie would always be his pups in his heart. It was still cute that they thought they could take on a bear between the two of them. Luckily Fia hadn't made a big deal over the marks lining his chest as her brothers had, leaving him a little pride left. The Knight was torn between having done the act for the safety of his family and having hurt, almost killed, an innocent animal who was friends with a member of the family. It certainly was a strange predicament. Tony's sudden excitement brought Jazper's mind back down to reality and focusing on the task at hand. Chasing rabbits would be a very exciting possibility for all boys Tony's age. Faster than he could process his son was on the floor and moving around, hoping on the floor with all the energy of a young pup. “I'm comin', I'm comin'!” He chuckled as the Knight started out the door motioning for his son to follow. The two quickly made their way to the back of the manor and started the short walk through the valley. “Now, we have to be very quiet and stay low so they don't see us.” Stopping the father crouched down, a small wince from the pain in his chest. “What do you think we have to do now?” Lucifer had let him figure out most of his first hunt, landing him with a bleeding ear and a beak shaped cut for numerous weeks. Sitting down in cold snow he couldn't help but feel a little proud of himself. It had taken a few years to get to this point in his life and there was nothing he loved more than his pups. |
