What do you know about Wicca? Nothing. Axelle thought about it for a moment. She didn’t exactly know much about the religion at all. All she knew was that there was spell casting involved and interesting potion making. Oh, no wait. Maybe she knew a little bit about it. She knew that the moon Goddess was worshipped, or something like that, and there were certain holidays that were celebrated throughout the year. Wiccans worked with the energies of the world, she thought. Now, how to put this all into words for Davyn?
Well, I know about worshipping the Goddess and I know that Wiccans work with energies… and they cast spells and make potions to ward off evil and negativity and to bring good energies…. Am I on point?
She wasn’t sure if she was talking about the right thing. Davyn moved the books aside so that she could sit down. There wasn’t a chair in front of her, so she had to take one from one of the other tables. She carefully carried the wobbly, old chair and set it in front of the table. Then she thought about how she was going to sit. She never sat on a chair before, and this would be the first time. She didn’t want to look like a fool so she just sat. Her tail fell through one of the slats in the chair and hung there comfortably. This is weird. She shifted around a bit before giving up. The chair was hard on her rump and uncomfortable, but it would have to do. She would get used to it eventually. They did live in a half human’s world after all.
She shifted one last time on the chair before she ceased moving around all together. Stupid thing. Then she focused her attention on Davyn, and quickly glimpsed at the book he put down on the table. Then she shifted her eyes back to his face. She folded her hands together, one black hand and one white hand held each other. Her ears were forward and listening, and her attention was all on him.
