It had been about a week since that day in the forest. That day were he had woken up to pain, unable to breathe normally and blood covering his chest. Looking back now he no longer regretted jumping at that bear. It had been a mistake, yes, but in the end he would do it again to keep his pack safe. Savina has only been hurt slightly and even though he had a vivid scar across his chest now, it was alright because it showed his loyalty to his pack. Looking out of his bedroom window he finally had a feeling he hadn't had in awhile now, the feeling of peace. Ever since the accident he had been beating himself up about hurting a friend of a pack member or lazing around in frustration at the knowledge that Kansas had never showed up to help his mate. Regardless of the fact that he had fought for his mate, his pups, and Kansas' mate, he felt better knowing everyone was safe and he had done his job.
A slight movement in the snow caught his eye and with a smile he quickly made his way down the stairs. The warrior hadn't been able to spend time playing with his boys or daughter but here was his chance to make it right again. Walking out the door and and around back the giant spotted his little angel quickly and silently laid down beside her. “Talking to yourself I see.” He teased lightly ans he wiggled his body further into their cushion of white snow. Looking up to the cloud she had been pointing at he noted to himself that if you squinted and made a funny face perhaps it could look like a white pup. Searching the sky for his own shapes he pointed to a different cloud, “That one looks like a bunny...a bunny without ears but is still has a fluffy tail.” His puphood days of searching the sky for clouds in shapes where long since over and it seemed you had to be a pup to have the imagination for the game.
