+5 OOC: Big Grin wheeee answer!

In Character

He was quiet as she talked his mind a whirl still, she answered him in a matter of fact tone, that they had done it together and it wasn’t just his fault… then he saw a small bit of Orin come back. Oh how could he do this to her? He had never meant for her to become this depressed. He never meant for all of it to happen in any case. But it did and he had waited too long to see her like he meant to, but with pack duties and Sky losing her pup…. It had been the last thing on his mind… but he was sure it should have been the first thing on his mind.

We will work this out, I want to be here for you Orin. I do.

He said his tone was almost a little harsh as he spoke. He would be there. It still seemed like some kind of nightmare, but he wanted Orin to be happy again just as he wanted her to feel safe and secure in the pack. From the look of her this was the last thing on her mind. He could see how weak the poor woman was just by shivering, he took her arm into his hand, hoping to support her in one way or another and led her into the cabin, opening the door. It was not so cold as it was outside, but the fire had not been lit in… how long? He wasn’t sure. He nearly hesitated when he remembered the only thing in the room was the bed… well he’ll gladly let her use it, he will sit on the floor. He escorted her across the room to let her sit. Then he went to his fire pit and started a fire, not a hard feet… now it was the food. He knew she had not eaten well, he could tell by the way she looked, so he figured he’d start small, he took his cooking pot, something he found in the old house before this one and put it over the fire and poured some water in. There were no vegitables anymore, and they didn’t cultivate anything, he did have some frozen meat. He went to go get it and brought it back, wordless as he worked. He was not the best of cooks but he was sure to make his own meal every once in a while, raw meat just seemed so boring every single day. He would make her a meaty broth, so he made sure to cook up the meat and did what he needed to do before heading back to Orin. He only needed to let the water boil now so that it could take in the meat’s juices. He sat himself on the floor next to Orin.

Now… tell me, what can I do to make you feel better? I don’t want to see you like this, I feel horrible.

He said. He could feel the small hut warming up now, thank goodness for small places. It would have warmed more if he had a smaller roof, but he needed to stand full height in his own home. He looked at her depressed form, and couldn’t help but think this had been all his fault.
