Niro was out, the skies were getting dark… clouds were rolling in, and he knew a storm was brewing. Marahute was on his shoulder sticking close to him, which also meant something. Niro was about to go inside for the day, but then he heard something in the distance… a howl. Niro’s ears perked and he smiled. Someone at the border? Niro was a very social creature and he loved meeting new friends, so he took the opertunity right up. Niro raced through the snowfilled lands to the sound of the howl. even minutes after it had disappeared Niro knew exactly where it was.
A form came upon him, one that he’d seen before, yet never seen in his life. The markings of the man were that of his mate and her mother and even a few others’ he’d met before, but the man himself, was quite new. He slowed to a walk. His back straight and a smile on his muzzle. He was sure the man would think this scene quite strange as Niro had a bird on his shoulders, and not just any bird, but a Golden eagle.

His words were calm and collective as he stared the man over, he was acting submissive, which Niro knew as a sign of respect for the pack, but it was still hard to get use to. He still had a welcoming smile on his face, though the rest of his body was poised the stance that a higher rank of a pack would, but this came with instinct as he did not find himself in a position where his rank would come to use very often.
