Niro nodded at her exclaimation. He too wished he could see his children more often. He hoped that whatever encounter he had with them, they would know that he loved them no matter what, he would do anything for them after all… He tried his best, though he could not blame the girls for not thinking on the same page as him. They were still young and didn’t always understand the ways things worked, but he hoped that in time they would understand. At the mention of the name she thought she would want Niro smiled.

That is a very pretty name. I am sure Haven would agree.

His smile did not faulter when she asked if he and Amaranth wanted puppies. He in fact did want children, at least more, and the rest he wanted to have with Amaranth. They were both young though, Amaranth barely of age to have children.

We have discussed it, we are young yet, especially her, though she wants them, we are letting nature take its own course, if we have children soon we will accept it, but we are not trying.

He said. That was possibly a good enough answer. He knew that his mate was young, and so was he, they had a while to go and he knew he would not leave her for the life of him. He did want a big family though. He loved children, loved the thought of them being all around him. That’s what he dreamed of at least, and there was still plenty of time for that. He would wait for his own girls to be grown in any case, in hopes that he did not put too much pressure on any of the puppies, his daughters or any he would have with Amaranth. It would be something fierce to juggle with, and he didn’t think he could.
