Fancy meeting you here

It was obvious to the onyx wolf that Jace was not willing to share the secret behind her quickly fading tears. The girl was not comfortable with spilling the details of whatever it was that seemed to have consumed her mind so entirely as she sat cold in this empty place. The idea of which did strike Kami's heart a bit harsh, though very expectantly. Had he not helped them during the hellish blizzard that had consumed the Valley? Had he not brought back the supplies with Adonia that perhaps kept them alive when hunting had become almost impossible? The thought that perhaps he deserved a closer connection to the inner thoughts of the wolfess were quickly dashed while the soft sounds of footsteps echoed from behind them. The third wolf was someone who belonged in the Valley he was sure of that, yet here they stood, still barely more then just strangers in a unfamiliar place.

The golden eyes shifted as Temo approached them. The stare that was given to the newcomer was of someone who was uninterested and unimpressed. Kami had not yet met the wolf that was much more interested in the wolfess then anything else in the nearby landscape. The distrusting look in Temos eyes burned a hole into Kamis pride deeper then anything he could have predicted. It was infuriating, insulting, and damn near enough a reason to cause the scarred wolf to bare his teeth in aggression. Though for now he would have to control himself; Jace had impressed the black furred wolf a lot that cold winters day. Her ability to push on and not give up despite her injuries had earned the respect of Kami. Yet, this "Temo" deserved no such luxury and he would not be granted the privilege that came with such respect. As the the new male laid himself to rest alongside Jace the relationship between the two became quite clear to Kami, yet it did nothing to ease his mind. Perhaps Temo would have to be the target of Kamis frustrations. They had been building up over the past few days and a outlet would not be unwelcome, whether or not it was deserved.

" So where were you during the storm "Temo". . .?" Kamis voice said the name as though it was something to be mocked, his voice dripping with cynicism. The lessons he had learned since joining the pack about socializing with others were completely thrown out the window at this point. His normally calm and calculating demeanor replaced by the animal. The large Secui form Kami currently occupied would be towering over the prone bodies of his pack-mates if they had been in their normal Lupus forms. The narrowed yellow eyes focused on little but the insulting physical display that Temo was still sending as a clear warning towards him. Even the subtle attempts by Jace to ease the tension was proving quite futile at this point as Kami watched and waited for some sort of reply. His own tail twitching in irritation as it took every ounce of effort he could muster to remain even this calm.
