The girl responded, acknowledging his compliment yet not referring to it. She knew he was trying to sweeten her mood, so she gave him a neutral expression. Her hands twisted in the cream fabric, rubbing two silky pieces together. Saphraine shifted his hooves and bent his head, letting cords of his snow white hair fall into his face. Ever patted him silently and set him off to graze in the woods. If this was all the peculiar loner wanted, she could handle him.
