Usually pain was thoroughly filtered out when she was thrown into one of her rages, but she had never suffered such a blow before. Not only was it deep, but it now completely hindered the use of her left back leg. Savina limped back and Nuki rolled away from her. After she quickly looked back to see the white knife sticking out of her leg her head swung back to look at the hellion. Blood was pouring steadily from the bite that Savina had managed on her torso and for that she was pleased. It was a critical wound. The two stared each other down as Nuki seemed to be sorting through her options. The Consul's bloodstained tongue hung out of her mouth as she panted, trying her best to master the pain that was throbbing strongly from her leg, side, and shoulder now. She thought the traitor would come at her again, but then the tan woman turned and began to flee towards the borders of the lands. Growling, Savina tried to go after her, but quickly faltered and fell heavily to the snowy ground.

The Italian woman tried to rise back up, but pain seared her shoulder and with a whine she sunk back down into the snow. I hope you die of that wound, you devil, she thought to herself as the remnants of her strength and rage leaked out of her along with her blood. Her body slowly changed back into her more delicate lupus form and a loud whine escaped her throat as the transformation completed. Despite the change in bulk, the arrow was still firmly planted in her shoulder and the dagger still poked out from her dark leg. Did she hear someone, or someones, coming towards her? She wasn't sure. Now that the anger was all used up though, all that was left was the loss and the grief of knowing her son had been killed. "Denali..." she said softly as one tear rolled down her cheek and quickly froze to her fur.
