Something about the trees was soothing. There were so many that even in the barren winter, they still blocked out some light and it was almost as if the shades of the long fallen trees were leaving dappled light shadows on the ground. It was usually a silent area, since the place was still unclaimed and no pack had marked it as theirs. So the young adult had gone into it often, choosing the serenity of the forest over the soothing sounds of the sea. He wandered around, in his two legged form with nothing but his scarf on. He was not big on clothes, but it was his scarf that he loved to wear. In the summer, he would hang it up in his room, and then don it again in the winter, when the weather shifted again.
He heard the crack of twigs and the crunch of light snow being trod upon. Twitching his ears, he turned himself toward whatever it was, thinking it to be an animal of sorts. Taking a moment, Silvano shifted into his lupine form, lowering to the ground. His scarf was still tight around his neck as he stalked between trees. He was not in such a disadvantage here. With his pelt color, he was almost like a moving tree, but the lack of true shade made it harder to blend in. He slipped around a tree, hearing where the sounds were coming from. They stopped suddenly and the young adult knew whatever it was had stopped moving.
Silvano burst forward from around the tree, silent as a hunter could be. But as soon as he was about to leap, he saw it was just a puppy that he had been stalking. Yelping as though he himself were still a child, he ended up leaping forward into a crashing roll, unable to somersault forward as he used to be able to. He ended up on his back, paws up in the air, dizzy. "Oy..," he muttered, eyes shut as he grimaced at himself.
