Every feeling leading up to this moment had created a unified buzzing pulsation between their two bodies. However, this unexpectedly ceased, as if instead receiving a sharp shock before numbing away to nothing. Somehow though he didn’t realize it, his body instantly recognized that it was over. Halo’s touch changed entirely and somehow, even though they were still touching, Silas felt an incredible feeling of separation. It was as if they were no longer on the same plane of feeling, and that seemed to create an almost tangible barrier between them. What was all of this? When she spoke, Halo’s voice wasn’t strong like Silas knew it to be, and icy blue recognized the dampness of tears in those shining rubies he often admired.
The Russian was given no time to react before the Inferni princess was wrestling away from their entanglement on the couch and scurried off into some other part of the mansion. The feeling of loneliness was heightened by this new mixture of abandonment, and he cried out softly to her "Halo", before the boy’s gaze fell away from the doorframe out which Halo had escaped, falling to his discarded denim Halo had let fall to the floor. Though he didn’t want to be angry at Halo, for he knew what had happened in her past, the boy did feel a strange sense of pain, caused by the conflicting emotions of his body and mind.

The mansion had begun to focus back into view, and the Russian jumped to his feet, reaching for his shorts so he could pull the denim snug around his hips once more. He thought now how they were lucky that no one had (hopefully) decided to come traipsing in or had heard them. Darkened ears falling close to the rich blue of his bandana, Silas climbed the stairs so that he could hide away in his room.
