WC: 212 OOC: Good ending spot?
He was silent as she took their son back, but happy to be where he was, holding her and and being with the two. This was their family, and deep in his mind he wished Maggie could be a part of it, that she would understand that he cared for her as much as he did with Jiva, that he wanted to be there for her, but it seemed she didn’t want him, nor did she need him. He knew that if she wanted to come back to him, that he would be there for her with open arms, for now though he had this little pup to think about, the boy he knew he could take care of. He kissed the top of his mates head, thinking, things will get better. They always tended to do so.
“You will... you are a great mother, and I know you have much more potential.”
He said quietly, not wanting to get up, or move or for this moment to end, but it would have to eventually, he just wouldn’t try to make that eventually happen any time soon. He would make it all last as long as he could before they had to go back to their daily tasks.
